So i was wanting to take a trip to see my fiancee, jus to see her as its been a while and also because i want to at least help with some wedding plans before she goes crazy on her own.

So just wanted to get the heads up on what things you need to do, cause am i right in thinking you need to prove you still have ties to come back?

So please give me tips advice and tell me whether its a good diea, and if its ok, then what do i need to show the boarder control to show its just a visit?

Thanks

You will need to bring such things as your mortgage/lease documents, most recent pay stub, current bank statement, letter from your employer or school stating your expected return date. But even with these things, there is never a 100% guarantee that you will be admitted into the U.S.

I visited my fiance many many times after we submitted our I-129F, but I entered the U.S. by land from Canada. I did get asked for my most recent pay stub once and told that if I couldn't produce it the next time, I would probably be denied entry.

Good luck.

Ok ,thanks thats useful.

Erm jus so you know i am at packet 3 stage as well, all i need to do is wait till police records etc. come back to me before i send off the checklist.

Anyone had good bad experiences of going through? Any useful tips you picked up?

So also its about one month from when they receive your checklist in london that they give you the interview date right? Cause was going to go there, half way through trip get parents to send off already filled out and packaged checklist so i get interview about couple of weeks after i get back.
