yes, all she needs is the e-ticket, visa, passport, CFO sticker and the packet from the USEm. She needs to pay 1,620 php travel tax if it's not included in the ticket and 750 php terminal fee. She'll be fine. Happy new year too!

where would she have to pay the travel tax? will she be able to pay when she checks in at the (JAL)counter?

There's a Phil. Tourism Authority counter near the exit door. She will be ask to pay after checking in at the JAL counter coz they will not release the boarding pass to her until she pays it. They will check if travel tax is included or not on her e-ticket before letting her pay anyway.

I'm always suspect of recommended travel agents here. Sure, there are some good ones, but recently a K1 immigrant here got scammed by a recommended travel agent. Sorry, but travel agents are a dime a dozen, and we should all find our own to avoid getting scammed.

You might even get a better deal on your own. If you spend a bit more, so what. You got a valid ticket and are on your way to US and your honey.

Some folks take bad risks trying to save a little bit. Common sense tells us not to be penny wise and pound foolish.

Happy Travels!

I agree. If the person doing the recommending does not have a profile filled out and a time line, then I would suspect its just a rep of the travel agent pushing SPAMM onto the forums...

What you are doing is correct. Bought my fiancee's ticket one way from MNL to NYC from the NWA website while we were both in Cebu the same day she had her visa delivered. Hardest part was changing my ticket to match hers so we could fly together. Make sure you have money for airport tax and travel tax along with USEM packet and visa/cfo sticker in passport. OTher details mentioned here about name matching tickets and stuff are also relevant.

Oh cool, I plan on having my fiancee come in from NYC via NWA as well.. I'm having her fly this one alone (mostly for financial reasons).. But I'm taking her to Hong Kong in two weeks for her birthday, so she's not complaining too much!!

I hope NYC is a decent POE..
