Congratulations!!! :D

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations!!!

Yay!!! I can't wait for mine :D I'm so excited... :D

Thanks Fatima. Yeah I do hope you guys will be fine too. As long as your paper work is in order, I believe the case is about 80% - 90% decided before you even appear for the interview. Good luck and looking forward to you guys sharing the good new with us...

Uhmn, do you have any tips?

Also, what supporting documents did you bring to the interview?

(my hubby and I have prepared copies of his life insurance with me as beneficiary, other military-related docs verifying me as his wife, health insurance cards with him listed as sponsor and me as beneficiary, bank statements, cellphone bill, photos... - we also have tons of letters and cards addressed to both of us - should I make copies of those too?)

Got an e-mail this morning that our GC has been ordered for production...what a relief to take a long break from Immigration. The whole process can be frustrating sometimes. Good luck to everyone still hoping to hear some good news from USCIS. And here's to a speedy approval to everyone!!!!!

Maybe you can call the National Customer Service Center (NCSC): 1-800-375-5283 and try to get a supervisor? The first tier customer representatives only see the same thing we see on the online case status system so you might have better luck if you can get a supervisor on the line.

Whao! Looks like you are even prepared for the interview than we did. I believe you have more than enough documents, they might not even get to see everything. And I think there's no need to make copies of the letters and cards, just take them along with you to further strengthen your case.

In our own situation, we were asked how we met, phone numbers and where we live. Then he asked us if we have ever been arrested, jailed, having any case pending in the court, ever entered united states illegally and things like that. Then he asked us what do we have with us to prove we live together, we gave him our bank statement, gym membership, utility bill (just one though), tax return document and a photo album of our wedding. He took the photocopies of the docs we gave him and requested for 2 pictures to put in our file.

Then he said to us...you guys are approved, expect your GC in the mail in about 3 weks time.

Hope this helps.
