Hello again everybody.

After a correction in our mail address and some waiting finally we got the appointment for biometrics. It is for March 18 at 12:00 pm. So finally good news. Things are moving.

It does sound like USCIS is getting to work.

And believe me, I am very happy about it.

But it scares me that my son, who has a lower number, didn't get his approval yet.

Guess it takes a mother to be this worried, but I rather have his stuff done than mine. He's the kid, I am grown up.I can handle things going wrong.

And he so needs to see his Dad this summer.

I hope your son gets his approval soon too!

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

On March 8, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

Does that mean i wont get an interview as it being processed on the west coast and i live on the east coast?

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On March 9, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

It is VERY likely that you won't have an interview and just receive your GC in the mail after approval. There have been some cases where they transfer the application to a local USCIS office after being transferred to CSC but that's pretty rare.

Did biometrics yesterday at noon, got a touch on the EAD last evening, and a touch on the 485 this morning.

We've been getting touches each weekday for 4 days now on the I-485. I'm not sure what to make of them at this point!
