I'm still patiently waiting :) Its been 3 weeks since they received my rfe and resume to processing. 60 days - 21 days = 39 days more to go? or should I expect letter from USCIS after a month? :)

I received a letter from USCIS today that says FBI was unable to process my fingerprint card and it will be necessary to have my fingerprints re-taken!!! :crying: :crying: :crying::angry: this is ridiculous !!! :angry: new appointment is scheduled for march 23rd.I will try to do early walk in this week ... :(

has anyone experienced this before???

I am neither especially clever nor especially gifted. I am only very, very curious...

I'm sorry to hear that. I have read similar stories before. There was one applicant who was told to get a police clearance after her fingerprints didn't turn out well in the 3rd appointment.

I hope you get through this better.

Actually, correct that..didn't get a text message or e-mail, just checked the website and had touches on both EAD and AP, clicked on EAD and said card production ordered March 8, 2010.

Ok, so I just got the text message for my EAD...anyway, I'll take approval for EAD right now so I can start to find jobs.

Like Calypso said, there have been other cases were applicants were asked to get fingerprints retaken. If they're still unable to process it, they'll ask you to get a police clearance (from what people have posted, it seems to be fairly easy to do so).

My I-145 was touched yesterday, but no text message or email *cry*....And my EAD has not been touched since the 17th Feb... Which is slightly frustrating. Dont know what to do about it either :(

01/22/2010- AOS arrives back at my house, signed, sent off again

01/27/2010- Receipt number given, huzzahhh! NOA1

02/06/2010- Biometrics Appointment, 16th Feb at 2:00pm .... Also happens to be my 21st Birthday!!

02/09/2010- Got a RFE for medical.....Sent reply letter 2 days earlier due to forgetting to include vaccination data.

02/10/2010- Sent a 2nd copy of medical to MO office.

02/16/2010- 21st birthday, Biometrics done, and a letter saying my case is on "hold" from the 7th of Feb, in a email...

02/17/2010- Touch

02/23/2010- Letter to congressman

02/24/2010- RFE Received and processing resumed.

02/25/2010- Case transferred to CSC

03/24/2010- Work permit printed

03/28/2010- Work permit received (After writing to the congressman...Again...)

As I have once written, MARM worried about the same thing everyday. She had no updates about her RFE response. Yet, one day, she came here and wrote that she finally got her interview letter. ;) Keep your cool, Vicky.
