My EAD card came in the mail today!!! :D My picture (from biometrics) actually turned out really great - haha, what a surprise! My ID pictures never turn out good XD

Good news! Our interview letter arrived today for March 31st. No online updates or touches since biometrics a couple of weeks ago. The letter came from the National Benefits Center. Good luck to everyone else! I know some others have the same interview date as we do! :thumbs:

Great news!!! Interview notice came in the mail today!!!! It's on April 1st :) Now I have to get everything ready for that...

Those who got the interview notices, does the interview notice come from National Benefits Center? or local office? I'm still waiting for something... either interview notice or EAD card... no touches nothing has happened since the biometrics, which is 30 days ago. :wacko:

I really hope the EAD comes soon for my wife. She came via JFK and her 90 temporary EAD ends next week! She is currently getting paid training, and they are aware of the situation but would be nice if she got it before then!

My timeline says to expect it March 17th week, but that is based on our NOA and we did the biometrics a week earlier by walkin, so not sure if that matters.

Should I call USCIS to inquire on its status?

Hello All.

I received an RFE for a problem with my Affidavit of support on 28 Jan 09 and replied with correct info on the 4th of Feb....received in Lees Summit, MO on 8 Feb 10. I haven't heard anything back yet and my case hasn't been touched at all since 28 Jan 10. Should I call to inquire? I'm in the Air Force and I have to go out of town for 5 weeks starting the end of April and I'm worried I won't be here when Diah has to have her interview. Thanks for any info....

I had an RFE on Feb 9th, sent back Feb 12th and I haven't heard anything either. No touches, no nothing (except for biometrics)! I think that's how it goes for a lot of people. I'm expecting to get my appointment letter this week or early next...

Good news! I just found out by calling uscis that my interview will be on April 7, 2010. The representatives at uscis were very kind and helpful! The first person transferred me to a 2nd-tier representative because he couldn't see more than what I see on their website. The 2nd-tier rep told me that my interview is scheduled for April 7, 2010, and my interview notice is scheduled to be mailed out on 3/6/2010, so I should receive it before March 15, 2010. Sooooo relieved. Whewwww.... I was concerned because I didn't receive anything in mail or email and didn't see any touches since 1/28/2010, which was over 30days ago. Any of you in the same situation, it's totally worth to call them. :thumbs:

Thank you for giving me the idea to call and try to find out more since my application hasn't been touched from the day of my biometrics.I wasn't as lucky as you ...but I asked if the application can be expedited since we have planned our big wedding for April 17 in our home country and we hoped to be able to go ahead with it if we got the interview letter this week. The lady was really nice and she really tried to help me and I will find out soon if I can go to the interview in time. I will let you know how it works and maybe if everything is going to be fine someone else could try this in the event of an emergency.
