I have officially given up on the online update status. It hasn't changed since my biometrics appointment. I've stopped checking. Now I'm back to just checking the mail :D - hopefully the EAD and AP approvals will come soon?

I've also scheduled an appointment with the Civil Surgeon again because my last vaccinations are due on March 16th and I figured it wouldn't hurt to get an updated I-693 done. I'll probably get the full medical done - we paid $110 for the physical exam (required for the office/clinic visit) then $13 for the TB test before so this next visit will be $110 then just $27.31 for the lab work (I assume I won't need another TB test). Plus the $30 for the 2 vaccinations which I'm getting at the local health department... So $167.31 total (just a little over $40 more than we paid last time) - for our peace of mind. LOL. We're also filling out a new I-864 for the interview - attaching our 2009 tax return which I believe our accountant e-filed last week - the deposit is already pending on our bank account :D We're so glad we filed jointly! :D Our accountant said the big refund was due to me having no income. I really can't wait to start working though...I really hope the EAD approval will come soon so I can start looking for a job.

 It's good to know that you are really getting ready for your interview, Fatima.

 It's good to know that you are really getting ready for your interview, Fatima.

I am so excited (also a bit nervous)! :D I've already put together the supporting documents that we'll need and made copies of everything. LOL.

Tomorrow I plan on working on a photo album. I just realized that we don't have many pictures since we got married so I'm getting the ones that my in-laws have. :D We do have an official portrait from an Army ball/banquet that we went to last November. We still don't have copies of it yet (just about to order) - I'm planning to just bring the framed one.

Do they keep photos at the interview?

You're welcome! ^_^ I'm going through all the timelines to make sure I didn't miss anything.

LOL, don't worry, your ASC was probably just backlogged or something? I found a thread yesterday where the couple's AOS took 2 years so I'm not complaining @_@ Our group has been very lucky!

There is just a one-day difference between our timeline, Menina. I posted a topic several days ago and somebody wrote that those who live in CA rarely get transferred to CSC. I don't know how true that is. I am in SoCal.

I think that is fairly accurate. From what I can tell with the VJ list sorting by local office, the CA people all had to go to interviews. I guess it is okay as long as we get our letter soon. The less I have to deal with CSC the better. They took 5 months on our I-129F and only put us in the online system when we were approved. Calling them was an exercise in frustration, so if getting an interview means going faster, I am for it.

Yes, I have thought about the same. I looked up timelines from those who were ahead of us and I noticed that some had their AOS approved with interview in a total of three months. It got me thinking that whether my case is transferred or I'll just have my interview, no problem, as long as it still runs fast. I really want to rest from dealing with immigration matters for a while. :star:

Everyone that submitted responses to their RFEs, were you supposed to send a copy to Chicago Lockbox in addition to sending it back to the PO BOX address in Lee's Summit, MO as written on the RFE instructions? Or did you only submit the reply back to Lee's Summit, MO?

We have gotten our congressman and senators involved. Hopefully we hear something before the end of this week!

Good luck to everyone and congrats to those with big updates!

To my understanding, you only send it to the Lee's summit address. The letter I received did not indicate that I should send a copy to the Chicago Lockbox.

I'm guessing our files are already in Lee's Summit and our adjudicators are there too.
