Hey everyone!

So my husband and I have moved to our new home this weekend and I've been busy with that! Anyway, I've done my biometrics, and it was relatively painless (though the fingerprinting lady had to redo some of my fingers because it was too light. Also found that I had touches on all apps today.

Thanks for updating the spreadsheet, Fatima.

Congrats on all those who got interview dates! Hope for more of them and transfers, too!

Oh, and I got another e-mail from USCIS saying that I got transferred to CSC...which I had already gotten on Feb. 8! I almost had a heart attack when it said my status changed on my AOS. I thought I had a RFE since I knew they would never approve my AOS before biometrics!

 Congratulations for the biometrics, Tina.

Well, so far your case seems to be faster than most of us January filers, and you've received your AP and EAD already, so just sit back and relax. It should be fine.

Thank you! I received AP and employment card sooner becasue I applied for both being expedited. I need the AP to travel outside the US before I get the green card.

BTW, I have a question: Did some of you receive an e-mail or text notification from the USCIS saying that your interview letter was on its way?

I only received the letter in the mail... no "new" updates or text/email notifications. :) I've read that some people are getting texts/emails on the day the letters are actually arriving for the EAD/AP.. so I'm figuring it's just best to wait for the mail..

Congrats to the folks with interview appointments already! I hope ours comes before too long.

Also, we figured out why we got the RFE for the medical. Apparently, we had used the old form instead of the one from 10/14/09 - oops! At least there was a real reason for the RFE because I was feeling pretty frustrated to get one when I thought we had done everything correctly. So, the doctor filled out the newer form, signed and sealed it, and we have it in tomorrow's mail! Hopefully now that we've responded to the RFE, we will get back on track and get some action soon.

AOS (from tourist w/overstay)

1/26/10 - NOA

5/04/10 - interview appt - approved

ROC

2/06/12 - NOA date

7/31/12 - card production ordered

N-400

2/08/13 - NOA date

3/05/13 - biometrics appt

6/18/13 - interview - passed!

7/18/13 - oath ceremony
