1. Those of you that can see when your package has been touched, where can you see this at? I have not found where I can see this?

If you have an account, you should be able to know you have touches when the "date last updated" column changes.

2. I am going to file my taxes, I am the US citizen, my wife is a Canadian. Last year, she had a job as a religious instructor here in the US, so she also has a W2 from 2009. How is the correct way to file my taxes? Her social security number she had then for the job, we are told is no longer valid, like she will get a different one now that she is applying for residence here. And her W2 of course has her maiden name on it. If I didnt explain it well enough feel free to ask more details and I will try to answer.

From what I understand, you cannot have a Social Security Number (SSN) and use it for work unless you are a resident, so I think you must be referring to Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) which your fiancee must have used in her W2. I would think that she first needs to get SSN and as soon as she gets it, she may ask her former employer to have her W2 corrected indicating her SSN in lieu of her ITIN. You may need to send in also your marriage certificate to her former employer so her corrected W2 will have her married name on it too.

I had my biometrics yesterday but the day ended without a touch. Has anyone experienced the same? I know that online "uplates" are sometimes unreliable but then...

I had the biometrics on January 26, but my cases were touched on January 28. And they have NOT been touched since. I don't think that scanning the bar codes on the appointment letter updates the cases automatically. I guess in order for the cases to be updated on the website, the adjudicators must work on the cases online.

Yeah, I suppose I'm just lucky that the adjudicator working on my case wanted to work OT. Hope there are more out there working on other cases
