Well, got another e-mail this morning, will post it here.

I am wondering what it means. Last week we got transferred to California, does this mean it is back now?

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

Oh, what a crazy long wait for biometrics. I've heard that our office does not allow for walk-ins, so I have to wait..(sigh)

Don't be alarmed, your case is still processing in CSC and more than likely you will not have an interview.

Just a matter of time before you get another message saying your green card is in production.

Yes, I agree. It seems that once your case arrives at CSC and they start processing it, they notify you of this fact. So, 2 emails are sent: one saying it has been transferred and one saying it has been received there. I am not holding out much hope for our case to be transferred. It seems that everyone from San Jose has to go for the interview. Maybe that will be faster than waiting at CSC though if the K1 is any indication of the wait time. No touches since 2/2 and that was only for AP, so no idea what if anything is happening. We have biometrics next week, so will probably see a touch when they scan our application there. Another touch on I-485. Called USCIS last night about why I haven't had a Biometrics appt letter so far and was told to wait 30 days from the time USCIS received the applications. She also asked if I had called them before on this. Will check with them in a week.

I think I win the AOS FAIL award along with my husband....

We spent all morning talking to fed ex, the package ended up being delivered so BLAGH.

Called the USCIS military helpline, was told to send in a copy to the MO address and tell them the story where we left it out of the package sent back to IL, after they sent the whole package back to us... We mailed it in the 8th and it was there on the 10th, and I got the RFE yesterday even though it was dated the 4th so its not my fault either as it didn't arrive here in time. We followed instructions both times from the uscis helpline . Where we were told to send the package in before the RFE in hopes it would catch up with my re submitted package.

So hopefully either

A) They send the package back to us

B) They forward it on to MO

C) Fed ex gets off their arses and gets the package back as I gave them enough notice (Package wasn't on the truck..)

or D) They get our medical and chuck it...Wouldent surprise me with all the horror stories..

I think we are so confused because we have a million other military process going on as well as the RFE. We are completly snowed under with paperwork and documents and even though I am home all the time I cant get through all of this paper work. I just hope the USCIS understands that we are not stupid, just very stressed....

I have made a huge screw up... We sent the medical info a few days back in to the USCIS in Chicago, not the MO office. Now my package with the original signature is lost. Great. We didnt get the RFE till yesterday and we sent it Sunday. Anyone got the USCIS Chicago address so I can get them to mail the package directly to MO.

Seeing if I can get the package back from fed ex....Lalala on the phone to them....Thinking I should of just hired lawyers...

Its going to be alright ^^ Don't stress yourself on it. If you won't have it back and if they don't forward it to Mo either can you ask another copy from your CS and pay a certain amount? I know my CS told me that I can have another copy and they will charge $25.

No idea, but that's exactly what happened to us and we don't know why.

Thank you Tina I still can't get my cases into the uscis site and when I called uscis, it said the same.
