got a word from my sister-in-law that she has my biometrics letter already...we're out-of-town and since she lives near us, we asked her if she could check our mail and let us know if there is anything from USCIS, and she was as excited when she called me a while ago to tell me about the biometrics letter ...my appointment is February 17 at 8:00AM.

Your case hasn't been updated yet. I have the same problem. I called USCIS and they ask me to be calling them to check on the status. If you do call their 1-800-375-5283 number they won't find it as well, but they will transfer your call to another department where they will be able to see your case and update you. Good luck.

P.S. In case you call their number, use options 1, 2 and 3. And in case the person who answered your call ask you to call back or wait for upto 30 days, just finish up with the call and call back again...someone will def. transfer you to the right department.

Do you have your biometrics letter? The receipt number on the biometrics letter is the one that should work. If it is not working, then wait a week or so then try again...

I am just a tad bit worried that although my husband's RFE response was delivered on Feb 03, 2010, it still shows as RFE sent in the case status on the USCIS website...when are they going to update it with "Case processing has resumed"? I hope this week!

I know it is hard not to be worried but you should know that they don't always update the informations online. My I-130 has been approved in September 2009 and it's still saying that the application is in initial review stage. So try to stay calm and if you want you can call and find out if there is any way to know if your case is resumed ( I called about my I -130 but they read the same thing that I can read online so probably you'll have to talk to a supervisor who has access to more info that the first line representatives. I called USCIS today and they said to "wait for 30 days and if you don't hear anything after that " to call back. I am going nuts checking my email every few minutes Please god give me the NOA.

Don't worry - their online system is known to be slow. I applied in 2008 for a reentry permit, I received it, and traveled, I came back, it expired, and online it still says WE RECEIVED YOUR APPLICATION FOR REENTRY PERMIT... blah blah blah....

As long as you know it is delivered, then there is nothing to worry about.

I have made a huge screw up... We sent the medical info a few days back in to the USCIS in Chicago, not the MO office. Now my package with the original signature is lost. Great. We didnt get the RFE till yesterday and we sent it Sunday. Anyone got the USCIS Chicago address so I can get them to mail the package directly to MO.

Seeing if I can get the package back from fed ex....Lalala on the phone to them....Thinking I should of just hired lawyers...

We went to the address on the BioMetrics letter...201 Varick Street (corner of Houston), suite 1023...I just went this morning, and had no problems and I believe SSON went a couple weeks ago and also it was fine for them.... where did you go and what did they say?

What a pain! We did the exact same thing and were YELLED at, told that we need to read the date carefully and can't come in early. Whatever. Our appointment is for tomorrow morning so we really only "lost" a few days.

Sorry to hear about that, Kayte! Hope you get a resolved soon.

Regarding lawyers, some of them are morons, too, so I don't think it would have been any better.

Well, got another e-mail this morning, will post it here.

I am wondering what it means. Last week we got transferred to California, does this mean it is back now?

Don't be alarmed, your case is still processing in CSC and more than likely you will not have an interview.

Just a matter of time before you get another message saying your green card is in production.
