My EAD card came in the mail today!!! :D My picture (from biometrics) actually turned out really great - haha, what a surprise! My ID pictures never turn out good XD

Well, I'm quiet because I don't have anything to report. I'm anxiously awaiting next Tuesday when I go in for my biometrics!! B-)

Anybody have big plans for the holiday weekend? I know it's not a holiday for everyone, but my husband (a school teacher) gets Friday AND Monday off. I only get Monday. We don't have any plans though. Going to take it easy! :dance:

Our Timeline - AOS from J-1 & J-2

10/03/09 - Wedding in Reno, NV

01/14/10 - I-485, I-130, I-765 & I-131 filed

01/25/10 - Checks cashed, NOAs sent!! (Day 1)

01/28/10 - NOAs received - dated 1/25/10 (Day 3)

02/04/10 - Biometrics letter received! (Day 10)

02/16/10 - Biometrics appointment, Modesto, CA - COMPLETED! (Day 22)

03/11/10 - Received interview notice - April 15, 2010 in Fresno, CA (Day 45)

03/18/10 - AP Approved (for my daughter - not me)!! (Day 52)

03/24/10 - Touch I-485 and email that RFE received on 2/18/10 (Day 58)

04/05/10 - INFOPASS appointment -- was told NBC must have decided not to process AP or EAD because interview was so soon. (Day 70)

04/13/10 - Email - EAD Card production ordered, Touch on my AP (Day 78)

04/15/10 - Interview @ 10:30am - APPROVED!!! Email - Green Card production ordered! (Day 80)

04/16/10 - My AP received in mail (no approval email), ANOTHER email EAD Card production ordered, Touch on I-765, I-485 & I-130 (Day 81)

04/20/10 - Green card status changed to post-decision activity, Touch on I-765 & I-485 (Day 85)

04/26/10 - Greencard RECEIVED!!!! (Day 91)

After I got the NOA's I kinda left it all up to the Universe :P LOL. I'm not as diliigent in checking the mail again :P Nevertheless, I'm hoping I get biometrics letter today.

As for the weekend, we're thinking of skiing. But only gawd knows how crowded the mountains will be.

25 January 2010: Concurrent filing of I-130, I-485, EAD and AP - sent via UPS overnight delivery to Chicago Lockbox

26 January 2010: Received by receptionist CHIBA at 8:30 AM/Received date on NOA

02 February 2010: Checked cashed/Notice date

05 February 2010: Received NOA's for I-130,I-485,I-131,I-130

13 February 2010: Received ASC Appointment Notice for Biometrics.

17 February 2010: Date of RFE for Federal Tax 1040/Received Text & Email confirmation

19 February 2010: Received RFE in mail

22 February 2010: Mailed Response to RFE via USPS Express mail

24 February 2010: Package delivered and received at Lee's Summit office

26 February 2010: Biometrics DONE/RFE Received-case processing resumed

17 March 2010: Email approval notifications - EAD & AP.

22 March 2010: Received AP by mail. Received interview schedule notice for 22 April.

22 April 2010: Greencard Approved :)

Removal of Conditions

24 January 2012: Sent I-751 petition via USPS Overnight

25 January 2012: Delivered at CSC, Receipt Date NOA1

27 January 2012: Checked cashed

30 January 2012: Received NOA in mail.

06 February 2012: Received Biometrics notice (dated 03 Feb)

02 March 2012: Biometrics appointment.

Just got a yellow letter in the post...Looked at it and sighed...

Request for medical...Cmon now! I just sent them in a letter 2 days ago (should be there today) stating:

"I forgot to include the vaccination history update for my Immigration Medical when I resubmitted my Applications to your office after having the packet returned to me. My k1 medical was completed in London Knightsbridge on October 6th 2009 and was handed in at point of entry which is Orlando, Florida. It was handed in on the 12th December 2009 at around 8pm.

My vaccinations have been updated and signed by a Civil Surgeon, and I am waiting on my next Varicella shot to be given after the 11th of Feb 2010. This is the second shot in the series and I will be supplying evidence that I have received this shot a week or so after the 11th.

"

The RFE letter is dated the 4th so hopefully my letter back is there by the 10th and fixed by the 12th....That would be AWESOME!

02/16/2010- 21st birthday, Biometrics done, and a letter saying my case is on "hold" from the 7th of Feb, in a email...

02/23/2010- Letter to congressman

02/24/2010- RFE Received and processing resumed.

02/25/2010- Case transferred to CSC

03/24/2010- Work permit printed

03/28/2010- Work permit received (After writing to the congressman...Again...)

07/01/2010- Call to Senator about Green card, Call to USCIS, Nothing... Told to wait another 2 months and then possibly another 4 months.

07/01/2010- Touch on I-485/Green card...

We also go a RFE for medical this week - they give you 87 days

I just wrote the Romanian embassy hoping they may have a copy of the medical - he called last night to the medical place when he had his exam - and they do not keep copies. It was next to impossible to get his shot records in Romania - as he had to obtain them from his grade school nurse

The RFE stated they wanted a copy of the DS-2053 completed or I-693 from the civil surgeon completed.

sorry about the RFE, it's so annoying to have medicals done twice! Good luck

I dont need another medical thank god, just had to send in my vaccination records.

Hello all. I tried to add all three case numbers in my uscis website account but it wouldn't let me. Any ideas? I used the receipt numbers as instructed on how to add in portfolio but still not working. Thanks in advance for any thoughts how. (F)

Your case hasn't been updated yet. I have the same problem. I called USCIS and they ask me to be calling them to check on the status. If you do call their 1-800-375-5283 number they won't find it as well, but they will transfer your call to another department where they will be able to see your case and update you. Good luck.

P.S. In case you call their number, use options 1, 2 and 3. And in case the person who answered your call ask you to call back or wait for upto 30 days, just finish up with the call and call back again...someone will def. transfer you to the right department.

Good for you...that's alot better than having to repeat the whole medical thing again. I had mine at Knightsbridge, London as well and handed in at POE, Orlando, Florida on 11th of December, 2009. So far, I haven't heard anything as regarding medicals. I pray to avoid any RFE...lol.

I recieved a standard email from USCIS: CASE PLACED ON HOLD On February 8, 2010, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case........

I wish it comes fast....I keep thinking about what reason could it be all the time :blink:

Um by the way does anyone know how many days do they give to answer the RFE? (before the opportunity to submit it expires - scariest part in email!)

In my case they gave me 87 days to reply. So it will be fine they give us enough time to reply for the RFE.
