For those of you who have appointments for biometrics in NYC, and did an early walk-in, could you please tell me exactly where you went? We have an appointment for this Thursday, but we tried to do a walk-in last week and were denied...

It's just fingerprinting. Make sure you have your appointment letter, valid ID (like passport) and bring your marriage certificate and birth certificate just to be sure.

Will send my RFE today! I read a persons testimony from ATL GA that their GC is only 3 mos in process and no interview. Wish mine too. Most of my filipina friend here didn't have interview. So who knows ^^

My apps got touched again today, but there's no change in status.

We received out BioMetrics letter yesterday and it's for 2pm on the 2/17 - but we're going to try to do an early morning walkin in Monday...it's dated 25th which was the touch date

We just got back from the ASC office in NYC and everything went well. The worse part was waiting in line to get into the building because we had to do an airport style security check which took nearly 25 mins! Once we got to the BioMetrics Appt room we showed them the letter and State ID, the lady gave my wife a form to fill out and then after she completed she did her fingerprints and officer scanned the barcode on the note and stamped it...all of that took a total of 10 mins!!!

So anyone that is in NYC I def recommend a walk-in if you can do it as they didn't even pay attention to the date on the letter...good luck to the rest!

Now we sit and just wait for EAD, AP and hopefully no interview for GC!

We went to the address on the BioMetrics letter...201 Varick Street (corner of Houston), suite 1023...I just went this morning, and had no problems and I believe SSON went a couple weeks ago and also it was fine for them.... where did you go and what did they say?

Hi everyone! Sorry I was MIA this weekend ^__^;; We hosted a Superbowl party yesterday - most of the people who came were Colts fans but we were rooting for the Saints. It's hard living in Michigan because with the Lions being so bad, you have to cheer for another team. We were rooting for the Vikings all year but since they didn't make it to the Superbowl *sad* - we cheered for the Saints. Very happy they won!

I still have some cleaning up to do after the party but I'll be back ASAP and update the Spreadsheet

Got an email update about my I-485. Looks like its being moved to California Service Center. Hope that's a good thing. Still haven't got the biometrics appointment letter for the EAD. That was last touched a few days ago. May have to call and find out if they already sent the letter out.

Ok thanks Tina&Roland.. I wasn't sure if it was good since I was expecting the case to move to the Texas Service center. So when you say likely no interview, are you saying that from here on, I may just have to wait for email updates and a GC in the mail someday if all goes well?

Yup, you'll just wait for their update that your greencard has been approved and it's in the mail. That is, unless the CSC found something strange and kicks it back to the USCIS center for an interview, which I hope won't happen
