Yeah, I should hope so! It looks like they are better on their updates now and lets me know they are working on something. I remember for the K1, I wasn't even able to see my status until close to my approval!

Same here! On the day of our approval, our case finally showed up online. AOS does seem to be moving much faster than K1 thankfully!

I think it depends on the adjudicator handling the cases - if they're the type who scan the barcodes every time they work on the case, it'll be updated online. If not, we'll have to wait for the actual notices to come in the mail

I have a really random question... As you may know my vaccinations had to be updated over here (very pointless since I have had chicken pox and the London doctors didn't write it down), however the updated vaccination records got missed out of the package when we rushed it in. Can I hand over the medical documents at the Biometrics appointment?

I forgot that they request the evidence after the biometrics...However I really don't want a RFE.

Another problem is they have to be updated on the 11th Feb for my varicella 2nd dose... Do I give them my doctors name in the UK to contact to get proof of me having Shingles and chicken pox...Or just pay another $100 for the vaccine and get it done before my interview? I have a 3 month window to get the second dose done in, but I am not sure they will accept the vaccination record after the 11th if its not updated. I had such a nasty reaction to the vaccine last time (Maybe because I have already have immunity to the virus) that I don't want to go through having a throbbing arm again...It got to the point where I couldn't sleep on it for a week and the CS really couldn't care less.

Help?

Well I guess I am having to go back to the CS to get another shot of Hell.... $160 out of pocket again for a stupid vaccination I don't need all because I need this 2nd dose on the 11th.

Sorry I am pretty mad about the whole Varicella screw up due to the docs in London not documenting it...

We received out BioMetrics letter yesterday and it's for 2pm on the 2/17 - but we're going to try to do an early morning walkin in Monday...it's dated 25th which was the touch date

I don't think you can do that. The biometrics is done in a support center and not in a major field office and maybe they wouldn't bother sending documents on your behalf. I might be mistaken though.

Did you mean that you never had chicken pox yet since you were a kid? In the Philippines during our medical exam, the doctor just asks if we already got chicken pox and we have to show scars from it. Once they see the scars and agree those are from chicken pox, they put VH in our DS-3025 and don't administer us a vaccine anymore.

In cases like this, you couldn't expect the doctors to contact anyone just to check the veracity of your statements. If you want to show proof, you could ring your physician in the UK and request him to fax you the necessary records. That's just an option though. The point is that it's you who will have to do the work.

Perhaps someone can offer better suggestions.
