Hi! Don't worry! My AOS and EAD didn't change until after the biometrics appointment (and I'm sure it changed only because the lady who took my fingerprints scanned the barcodes on the ASC notice).

I see :) . I thought before they send us the mails they inform us through e-mails or updating the account. Thanks Fatima :)

Hello people! At last my Med. Ex is done. My TST is 23mm ^^ and X ray is clear. I received my EAD biometrics appointment today scheduled 2/17/. Called USCIS and asked if my first biometrics from AOS can make it for may EAD as well. Answer? No! and said If only I filed it one time with my AOS. Another trip to ASC again! sucks :(

By the way can we cancel our EAD application?

You have to do the fingerprints twice once for AOS and once for EAD? I thought they were done at the same time?

If you filed AOS and EAD concurrently, you'll receive only ONE notice for both :) - the fingerprints will be for both applications ^_^

I think it depends on the adjudicator handling the cases - if they're the type who scan the barcodes every time they work on the case, it'll be updated online. If not, we'll have to wait for the actual notices to come in the mail :(

I got the biometrics letter! :) Notice date was Feb. 2 and my appointment is in Feb 23 at Oakland, CA. I'm just wondering why the dates does not change in my USCIS account. Both AOS and EAD still has the date January 29. Oh well, they're probably busy :)

 for the update.

That's very normal, Third. Give it a few more days. Besides, the USCIS website says that the notice of receipt arrives within 30 days from filing. If you'd ring them to inquire, they'd just give you that script.

Enjoy your weekend.

Well, I don't want to get my hopes up since it might be that they corrected the hyphens in my name

^_^ As long as it's not an RFE, no need to fret. I trust that the AOS is faster than the K1.

Yeah, I should hope so! It looks like they are better on their updates now and lets me know they are working on something. I remember for the K1, I wasn't even able to see my status until close to my approval!
