So it's Friday now. I am hoping to receive an e-mail from the USCIS stating that my case has been forwarded to CSC for faster processing and greencard production without an interview. If that would not happen today, it must be next week.

From what I've seen, if you get transferred to CSC, it ranges from 2 weeks to a month after the NOA date. Hope for smooth sailing for everyone!

I wish our case would get transferred too but I read on another thread that cases from the Midwest are almost always transferred to local offices for interview. *sigh. Maybe we'll be one of the lucky ones who get transferred? :D

It's not impossible for you to get the greencard without an interview. ^_^ Oh! Triple negative?

Isn't Detroit in the East? Here in Indianapolis, we're considered mid-west, but I've just taken a look at the survey of those with Indianapolis local offices, and the majority of cases have been transferred to CSC in about a month or less. Ah! This speculation is driving me crazy!

Yup! I've always found it weird why it's considered "Midwest"

Midwestern United States

Despite the name, the Midwest is located primarily in the eastern half of the United States, though culturally and traditionally, it is not seen as a part of the Eastern United States.

The region consists of twelve states in the central and inland northeastern US: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin.

I looked at the ones with Detroit local offices and there were only 3 cases that were transferred! :(

I suppose it kind of does make sense. We POE'd at the Blue Water Bridge in Michigan and drove only a few hours after that to reach Indiana. Well, maybe we'll both get lucky

The waiting really sucks. I should know, been waiting for this for almost 5 years now. Just a few more days...can't wait to get this over and done with. Visiting the forum and reading the posts here help alleviate the pain of waiting..... :reading:

Hi! Don't worry! My AOS and EAD didn't change until after the biometrics appointment (and I'm sure it changed only because the lady who took my fingerprints scanned the barcodes on the ASC notice).
