Just back from our biometrics. The appointment was for 9 this morning for me, 10 for my son.

We were early and the only ones there, so there was no problem and they did is both right away.

Took quite some time to get my fingerprints, I used to work in the cleaning business and apparently that makes it hard to get my prints.

Besides that, it was a pleasant experience and we were done in 45 minutes.

Yay! Congratulations! ^___^ I'll be updating the Spreadsheet later today :D

Our mailperson is a woman and she always waves at me now when I go out for a walk and she's driving down the street delivering mail to other houses - it's probably because of all the times I've been waiting for her and she never even got the chance to open the mailbox, she just handed all the mail to me personally. LOL. She recognizes me on sight!

Yes, never lose hope! It might just be because your biometrics appointment is scheduled a little later (because it depends on how busy the office/ASC is) - it seems like they really do wait 2 weeks before your scheduled appointment to actually mail out the notice. @_@

The mailman in our area is a man. It rained almost daily for two weeks before the last week of January but there were still mails inside the mailbox. I said to myself that when I receive my greencard, I will surely give the mailman a thank you card for making it through rain and heat.

Don't waste your energy, time, and attention. Get some exercise, go to the public library, watch TV docus and sharp films at home, read good books, learn new recipes, improve your relationship with God. ^_^

The mailman took pity on me the other day. I went out to check the box when it was raining, but he had just got there so he let me sit and wait in his little mail truck until he had it all sorted. :innocent:

Nothing but junk mail though

I didn't even know when our check was cleared. The G-1145 was helpful though. The USCIS received my package on January 18 and I got three e-mails with the MSCs on January 22. The NOAs showed up in the mailbox on January 25.

Keep your optimism. :star:

hahaha. Right before we sent off our AOS packet, my husband enrolled our bank account into online banking so I could just login and see if the check had cleared. LOL.

We already have our biometrics appointment letter and I should probably calm down and just sit tight because the approvals are going to take a while but I just can't help it. I still keep checking the mailbox as soon as possible - I have been able to hold off on the online case status updates though. Our cases haven't been touched since 01/12 and I'm starting to doubt if they will ever be updated. Our I-129F was only touched once after we filed it and then was never updated even after it was approved @_@

Anyway, don't worry! Your NOAs should get there soon! ^___^

I LOVE "Desiderata" - I even have a fanlisting for it - http://fan.midheaven.org/desiderata/ - haha. never really promoted it so there are just 3 members ^__^;;

:( Don't worry, it does take a while to get the biometrics letter but you WILL get yours *HUGS*

Yay for the kind mailman!

I have a question for all January AOS filers. Did you guys include the 2009 tax return for your husband/wife? I am planning on filing the AOS package in Feb and my husband hasn't yet filed his taxes. I was confused if not having the 2009 tax info will cause a problem.

Thanks in advance.
