Hi! My appointment is scheduled at the one in Kentwood, MI - it's the nearest ASC (about 2 hours away). Are you closer to the Detroit office? You can check at the USCIS website at https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=of...office_type=ASC - enter your zip code and see which one would be closest.

I'll still ask if the Kentwood ASC accepts walk-ins when I go for my appt. and let you know! ^_^

checked the link, it gave me Kentwood also...hubby said it's about 3-hour drive from where we are, closer than Detroit and a nicer place to go to, he said...so most probably, i will have my bio there too...thanks again Fatima, you are a very efficient and reliable source...you're such a blessing :thumbs:

Just got another update email for my EAD - it went (back) to "Post-Decision Activity" from "Document Production" - pfft: Post-Decision Activity On March 15, 2010, we mailed you a notice that

My EAD card came in the mail today!!! :D My picture (from biometrics) actually turned out really great - haha, what a surprise! My ID pictures never turn out good XD

Are we supposed to submit our USC spouse's birth certificate also? I only submitted mine :unsure:

I submitted it as proof of my husband's USC status for I-130 (petition of alien relative). I also submitted copy of his passport just to be sure.

25 January 2010: Concurrent filing of I-130, I-485, EAD and AP - sent via UPS overnight delivery to Chicago Lockbox

26 January 2010: Received by receptionist CHIBA at 8:30 AM/Received date on NOA

02 February 2010: Checked cashed/Notice date

05 February 2010: Received NOA's for I-130,I-485,I-131,I-130

13 February 2010: Received ASC Appointment Notice for Biometrics.

17 February 2010: Date of RFE for Federal Tax 1040/Received Text & Email confirmation

19 February 2010: Received RFE in mail

22 February 2010: Mailed Response to RFE via USPS Express mail

24 February 2010: Package delivered and received at Lee's Summit office

26 February 2010: Biometrics DONE/RFE Received-case processing resumed

17 March 2010: Email approval notifications - EAD & AP.

22 March 2010: Received AP by mail. Received interview schedule notice for 22 April.

22 April 2010: Greencard Approved :)

Removal of Conditions

24 January 2012: Sent I-751 petition via USPS Overnight

25 January 2012: Delivered at CSC, Receipt Date NOA1

27 January 2012: Checked cashed

30 January 2012: Received NOA in mail.

06 February 2012: Received Biometrics notice (dated 03 Feb)

02 March 2012: Biometrics appointment.

I submitted it as proof of my husband's USC status for I-130 (petition of alien relative). I also submitted copy of his passport just to be sure.

thanks...we did not submit my husband's birth certificate as we thought we have established his citizenship already during the K-1 application process...anyway, as they say, it's better to submit more documents than having an rfe, hopefully we won't get one...good luck to all of us.

Hi guys!!! We mailed the AOS and EAD last January 20, 2009 and was received January 22. Check was cashed January 28. I am hoping to receive my NOAs, just went out to check the mailbox and no NOAs still :( . Anyways, just want to join the January filers!!! Good luck to all of us!!!

I'm really glad there's an ASC in Kentwood - it's a lot closer (it's just outside of Grand Rapids) and we have family there too ^_^

I figured it'd be easier for people to find out if a certain office accepts walk-ins (I forgot about the ASCs! haha). Hmmn...Let me know if you guys want me to remove the notes on the spreadsheet!
