Thanks for the replies everyone! ^___^

I actually just called the Military Helpline - in my experience, it's a LOT easier to get through to an actual person; they didn't even ask me to verify my status as a military member's spouse - anyway, they told me that ordinary legible photocopies are fine (as per the instructions) and that if they do need the original, you'll be asked to bring it to the interview (or mail it in case you receive a notice for it, i.e. RFE).

I just got a little worried when I went through the VJ guide for AOS again and it said "Certified copy of the marriage certificate" - I do know that a lot of people have sent just photocopies and gotten approved so I'm not too worried. LOL ^__^;;

Hope everyone's having a great day!

My husband is on his way home so I'm really happy (he had to drive down to Kentucky yesterday - it was our first night apart since I got here 7 months ago :( )

Oh! That's really :( .

:( We were both so sad. I only got an hour of sleep last night. It was so weird not having him next to me ='( Even our dogs couldn't sleep. I think they know he's on his way home now so they finally fell asleep:
