You might need to present your infopass appointment letter before they let you inside the building.

I think that note just means that unless you have "official business" - in this case the biometrics appointment, you can't go to the office. So just bring your appointment letter and you should be fine :) I think that applies to all USCIS local field offices - I don't know which specific offices accept walk-ins though.

Hi Third,

I don't think you'll have a problem only sending two pictures. We only sent two not realizing we should have sent six. The issue never came up and we were approved at our interview. The photo taken at biometrics appointment was the one used on the EAD and GC. The photo we sent was used on the AP.

Good luck to you and all the January filers.

Ok first of all if you want to have the biometrics done you don't have to go to see an IIO but if you want to go to a field office you need an infopass which you can get from the uscis website http://infopass.uscis.gov/. The Biomestrics are done at a different location( at least in Philly is like that).

If you have your biometrics appointment letter, you are good to go. If that's what you were asking about. :star: On other days where you have other reasons for going to the USCIS, that's when the infopass letter takes its role.

I received an email notification last Friday that my I-485 and I-131 applications were received. They also gave me my case numbers in that email. Today I checked my case status online and the USCIS website says it's on "Initial Review"...I am waiting for my NOA1 hard copies which hopefully would come within the week. I am just happy that's there's some progress :)

Hi guys,

I have another question ^__^;;

Did you just send photocopies of documents like the Marriage Certificate and Birth Certificate? Or did you send original certified ones?
