I was looking at November 2009 aos filers spreadsheet and found that some people got their green card without an interview. Do you know what kind of cases they are? And what kinda cases get transferred to CSC and what kinda cases don't? Does anyone know?

Hi Omark! Use your wife's previous family name because it asks for her maiden name (the name she was born with, before you got married) ^_^

I believe uncomplicated and straightforward cases get transferred to CSC - they attempt to approve cases without an interview but there are also some cases that get rerouted to a local office for an interview even after being transferred to CSC.

Woohoo!! My husband got the biometrics letter yesterday...he is scheduled for Feb 12....

Oops, I didn't notice this yesterday!

CONGRATULATIONS meANDv!!! ^___^

Hi Third, we are applying a little differently (vwp aos) but my husband (the non-usc) sent 2 with the 485, and 1 with the 130. We didn't apply for AP so I don't know about that. We didn't send additional pictures for the I-765.. Hopefully we'll both be okay. :) You've done all you can do at this point, can't stress (too much)about something you have no control over.

WHEW!!!! The RFE must have been the bio appointmnt because we got an appointment letter today for the 17th of Feb!!! Does anyone here know if I can walk in early to the Kansas City office? If so like could I go monday already?

Hi! Yay! Congratulations on the appointment letter! ^_^ I'm not sure if the Kansas City office accepts walk-ins but if it's not that far from you, it wouldn't hurt to try.

My husband and I didn't try to do an early walk-in because he'd have to take time off from work and the ASC near us is 2 hours away :(

Hi Third,

I don't think you'll have a problem only sending two pictures. We only sent two not realizing we should have sent six. The issue never came up and we were approved at our interview. The photo taken at biometrics appointment was the one used on the EAD and GC. The photo we sent was used on the AP.

Good luck to you and all the January filers.
