I send my AOS application on January 16 and was received on January 19 as per USPS tracking.I am adjusting from B1 but family based (marriage with USC) so I would be in both categories :P (as some other people).My checks have not been cashed and that worries me a little bit.Good luck everyone!

Don't worry! It does take a few days for them to cash the checks.

We mailed ours last January 4th, it got there Jan. 5th, Receipt Date was Jan. 6th, Notice Date was Jan. 11th.

The check wasn't cashed until Jan. 12th. Then we received the NOA hard copy on Jan. 13th.

It usually takes a few days! Don't worry! It should be on the USCIS website by the time you get your NOA hard copy (if it's not, don't worry - some cases never show up on the website or do but are never really updated even after they've already been approved)

I've actually stopped checking the USCIS website since I got my biometrics appointment letter - my I-485 still shows up as being in the "Acceptance" stage (it should be at the "Initial Review" stage since my biometrics appt. has already been scheduled). @_@ I'm making a point to check only once a day AT MOST or maybe even once a week if I can help it.
