The biometric letter comes from the Missouri Service Center (NBC) - mine was postmarked with zip code 64063 (Lee's Summit, MO). If you have to reschedule though, you're supposed to send the request to your local office/ASC where your bio appointment was scheduled.

Yay!!! Congratulations on the successful walk-in! ^___^ I updated your info!

Thank you!

I realized I'm not on the right forum here, but I think I'll stick around anyways since the process is basically the same and I'm already on the spreadsheet! I am the USC and my wife is Canadian, adjusting status from tourist visa (B2). Our lawyer had some last minute research to do on our case, so the paperwork didn't end up getting mailed until 1/14/10 (I earlier reported it being mailed on 1/7/10). Checks still have not been cashed and no NOA - getting very anxious for some activity. My wife and I are going on our honeymoon in 9 days (Maui!) - we got married in December, but better late than never! I am really hoping that we at least get the NOAs and checks cashed before we leave so that we can just relax and enjoy ourselves. Good luck to everyone!

AOS (from tourist w/overstay)

1/26/10 - NOA

5/04/10 - interview appt - approved

ROC

2/06/12 - NOA date

7/31/12 - card production ordered

2/08/13 - NOA date

3/05/13 - biometrics appt

6/18/13 - interview - passed!

7/18/13 - oath ceremony

Don't worry! You're still in the right forum since you filed for AOS too. antdirt (AAD... 4EVER!!!) is also adjusting from a B visa (B-1). There are also other members that filed AOS from other visas: H-1B, J-1/J-2 and the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).

Your NOA should come in the mail soon! ^___^

*Note: The USCIS website says that if you don't receive the notice within 30 days of mailing the application, you should call the USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

My biometric appt is scheduled for 2/8/2010. But I just walked in to NYC office this morning, and completed fingerprints and photo for both I-765 and I-485. When I walked in around 8:50am, there were appx. 5 people. I was done by 9:10am, and by that time I saw appx 8 people waiting. They looked at my appointment letter, but didn't say anything. I just brought the appt letter and my passport. So quick! Hope this helps!

That's great, where is the NYC office?

Also my wife still havent received her w-2 for 2009 yet can we send just the paytubs from last six months or i have to have w-2 from the previous years..we have 2007 and 2008 but not the 2009 yet (just the paystubs).Thank you so much for all your help.

I almost got screwed by a civil surgeon here in Indianapolis that wanted me to go through the whole medical exam again even though I told him that I had one done already and I needed only my vaccinations transcribed on I-693. I argued with him for about 30 minutes about that and apparently the whole office didn't know about the K-1's, so I'm not even sure how many people had to go through the hassle.

Needless to say, I took away my paperwork and went to another civil surgeon who was willing to do what I asked for a nominal fee of $50. I had to get vaccinated with another Tdap though. Apparently the INS/USCIS is very picky on how many Td, Tdap shots you've had.

It's located on Varick St. and Houston St. (subway station Houston St. for 1 train).

They might want to do the x-rays again if the TB test comes back positive - you may also be asked to take a course of medication for the TB even if it's latent (and even if you had the BCG vaccine when you were younger - this vaccine has been known to cause false positives on the TB test).

We sent my husband's previous tax returns for 2006, 2007 and 2008 along with his W-2's for those years - as well as his pay stubs / earning statements for the most recent 6 months (July to December 2009). We haven't filed for taxes yet (he actually just got his W-2 for 2009 this week). I read from another thread here on VJ that they probably won't ask for the 2009 W-2 and tax return until after the deadline for filing taxes (April 15).

You really just need to send the 2008 year tax return and W2's, though. The 2007, 2006 ones are not necessary.

Yup! Tina&Roland is right. In the Form I-864, there is a box that you can check (it's optional) if you included the 2nd and 3rd most recent years' tax returns and W-2s. But they only require the tax return and W-2 (or tax transcript) for the most recent tax year. ;)

Please count me in. I filed my I-485 and I-765 last January 19, 2010, a week after my wife became a naturalized citizen. My I-130 was filed in July 2005 before my I-94 expired. I came here on a B2 visa but overstayed because someone had to stay home to take care of our baby then. He is 4 now and attending preschool. I can't wait to finally be able to work, drive and travel back to the Philippines. Five long years and it's finally here. Keeping my fingers crossed.
