Jan.6,2010- Mailed to South Dearborn Chicago via Fedex overnight delivery

Jan.7,2010- AOS packet received signed by Chyba

Jan.10,2010- Notice receipt from USCIS

Jan.13,2010- check has been cashed

Jan.14,2010- NOA1 received (hard copy)

Jan.23,2010- Biometrics Appt.received in the mail dated Jan.14,2010

Feb. 1, 2010- Biometrics appointment at 8a.m.

Feb.9,2010 - touched

March 2,2010- AP approved

March 9,2010- Hard copy received

March 12, 2010- I-485 receipt notice for interview

March 18,2010- received letter for initial interview

April 19, 2010- 8 :15 A.M INTERVIEW DATE ( APPROVED 5min.Interview)

APRIL 20, 2010- USCIS website updated card production ordered

My EAD card came in the mail today!!! :D My picture (from biometrics) actually turned out really great - haha, what a surprise! My ID pictures never turn out good XD

We mailed our packet Dec 31 and it was to arrive Jan 4. I forgot to look at the tracking number to make sure of the delivery, but looking at my checking online this morning I found my check had been cashed Jan 7. I looked at the image of the check and found it was stamped with the MSC file number on 01/06/10. :dance: May the approvals for us all come quickly and smoothly (then we can "rest" for a while)! :)

We're sending out AOS+EAD+AP mid-next week...everything is done except our medical which we are doing today.

I learned a lot on the May VSC K-1 visa filers and look forward to this journey with you all January AOS fliers.

waiting for them to cash our check :D

Should we be worried that our check has still not been cashed yet? We mailed the AOS&EAD package via USPS priority on the 4th of Jan, it got there on the 5th of Jan (online tracking confirmed this). I see that IndyPeru's check was cashed within 2 days of the package being received, so that's why I am a bit worried...

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

Ours got there on the 5th too and our check hasn't been cashed either. I checked other members' timelines and I think it takes them anywhere from 3 business days to a week so I think we shouldn't worry just yet ;) They might still have a bit of backlog from the holidays (December filings?) *crosses fingers*

If you're enrolled in online banking, you can check online if the amount was debited from your checking account yet. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for your bank statement to come in the mail. You can also call your bank, I think. :)

I keep logging in to check our bank account and it's driving me crazy! LOL. It's a good thing the bank is doing a routine maintenance on their website or else I'd still be checking every few hours even though it's a Sunday. XD
