Congrats to all with approvals!

Turns our our RFE was NOT for medical. It was for birth certificate. My wife's was lost so we had a signed, sealed document from the local amphur office saying it was lost and testifying to her birth.

Our RFE said that Thailand has birth certificates so we have to provide it and if it's lost then we need to provide a signed, sealed government document saying it was lost and tesifying to her birth. Which. is. exactly. what. we. sent!

I'm trying to get my Congressman to help, and will set up an Infopass appt soon I guess. We can't send them anything more than what we sent-- and that is all they asked for anyway. Very frustrating delay!

Perhaps they lost the one you sent. I have seen that happening a lot. Is there any way to get another document just in case Infopass doesn't work? I know it must be a pain since you would have to get it sent from Thailand because of the sealed envelope part. Sigh...good luck to you!

05/27/2008: Application was sent

06/03/2008: NOA1 was sent to us from VSC

06/07/2008: NOA1 received

07/02/2008: touched

07/03/2008: touched

09/12/2008: NOA2!

12/12/2008: NOA3

06/15/2009: Interview. Pink!(This is a delayed date according to our request.)

12/28/2009: I-485, I-131, I-765 application sent vis Fedex Overnight

01/05/2010: USCIS received.

01/08/2010: Receipt letters received.

Call USCIS and apply for an expedited AP.

Make appointment through INFOPASS on USCIS website with local immigration office.

01/15/2010: Meet with local immigration officer and get the printed biometric appointment letter(appointed date 02/11).

01/19/2010: Walk in and get biometric done at local ASC.

01/22/2010: Receive AP.

01/28/2010: Receive Employment Card

04/12/2010: Interview at 8am. Passed with no approval letter and no I-551 stamp. I was told there was a clitch on the name check and some delay could be caused to the final approval.

04/13/2010: Card production was ordered! I got sms update right after 8am!

04/23/2010: Green card in the mail!! God is good!

Congratulations! Wow, 5min interview is amazing! I will have my interview on Friday, 23 April.

We just got back from our interview this morning, I got approved!

After so many sleepless nights, finally USCIS ordered production of card. I was so worried 'coz the IO didn't give us any decision at the time of interview which was last April 15. Thank God!!! I didn't receive email though about it. I just decided to check on the USCIS website and saw the touch. It was ordered April 23. I guess I have to wait for the green card to make sure that it's really approved. Good luck to all of us!!! :)

You should not be worried about not receiving the e-mail.I received the 2nd card production and approval notice sent changes only as text messages and no e-mails...so I think there is something wrong with their system. I am sure that everything will be ok and you will get the card in a few days.

Good day my VJ members! I received my 10yrs. Permanent residence card in the mail few minutes ago. It is fast I am expecting 2 weeks. rofl.gif It is such a nice day today in my place though kinda chilly .
