My EAD card came in the mail today!!! :D :D :D

My picture (from biometrics) actually turned out really great - haha, what a surprise! My ID pictures never turn out good XD

January 20, 2010 - Sent AOS and EAD

January 22, 2010 - AOS and EAD received and signed for by CHYBA

January 28, 2010 - Check was cashed

February 2, 2010 - Received NOA1 for AOS and EAD

February 2, 2010 - Notice date biometrics appointment

February 5, 2010 - Received appointment notice

February 23, 2010 - Biometrics appointment

February 24, 2010 - Touch on AOS and EAD :)

March 12, 2010 - Received my interview letter for April 15, 2010 (dated March 9, 2010)

March 18, 2010 - EAD card production ordered

March 23, 2010 - 2nd e-mail (EAD card production ordered)

Thank you!!! ^___^ I was so happy when I saw the envelope in the mailbox (it was the only letter we got today). It looked like our mailperson was in a real hurry today. I had to reach way into our mailbox to get it. It looked like she *threw* it in. LOL.

I hope my EAD comes soon! I had a really good interview this morning for an amazing job and I don't want to make them wait any longer than I have to!

Our Timeline - AOS from J-1 & J-2

10/03/09 - Wedding in Reno, NV

01/14/10 - I-485, I-130, I-765 & I-131 filed

01/25/10 - Checks cashed, NOAs sent!! (Day 1)

01/28/10 - NOAs received - dated 1/25/10 (Day 3)

02/04/10 - Biometrics letter received! (Day 10)

02/16/10 - Biometrics appointment, Modesto, CA - COMPLETED! (Day 22)

03/11/10 - Received interview notice - April 15, 2010 in Fresno, CA (Day 45)

03/18/10 - AP Approved (for my daughter - not me)!! (Day 52)

03/24/10 - Touch I-485 and email that RFE received on 2/18/10 (Day 58)

04/05/10 - INFOPASS appointment -- was told NBC must have decided not to process AP or EAD because interview was so soon. (Day 70)

04/13/10 - Email - EAD Card production ordered, Touch on my AP (Day 78)

04/15/10 - Interview @ 10:30am - APPROVED!!! Email - Green Card production ordered! (Day 80)

04/16/10 - My AP received in mail (no approval email), ANOTHER email EAD Card production ordered, Touch on I-765, I-485 & I-130 (Day 81)

04/20/10 - Green card status changed to post-decision activity, Touch on I-765 & I-485 (Day 85)

04/26/10 - Greencard RECEIVED!!!! (Day 91)

Finally got my appointment letter for interview! Notice Date March 10 and Interview on April 14 @ 1:30.

By the way does your request said the same thing? (Request for Applicant to Appear for Initial Interview)

I haven't had a touch on my EAD since the 17th Feb....Got a feeling my EAD wont be here before my greencard...*cry*... I am so ready to work and get out of the house!

12/31/2009 - Married

01/08/2010- Mailed in AOS

01/13/2010- AOS received and sent back due to missing signature

01/22/2010- AOS arrives back at my house, signed, sent off again

01/27/2010- Receipt number given, huzzahhh! NOA1

01/29/2010- Money taken out :'(

02/02/2010- Touch

02/06/2010- Biometrics Appointment, 16th Feb at 2:00pm .... Also happens to be my 21st Birthday!!

02/07/2010- Sent in Medical to Chicago office

02/09/2010- Got a RFE for medical.....Sent reply letter 2 days earlier due to forgetting to include vaccination data.

02/10/2010- Sent a 2nd copy of medical to MO office.

02/16/2010- 21st birthday, Biometrics done, and a letter saying my case is on "hold" from the 7th of Feb, in a email...

02/17/2010- Touch

02/23/2010- Letter to congressman

02/24/2010- RFE Received and processing resumed.

02/25/2010- Case transferred to CSC

03/24/2010- Work permit printed

03/28/2010- Work permit received (After writing to the congressman...Again...)

07/01/2010- Call to Senator about Green card, Call to USCIS, Nothing... Told to wait another 2 months and then possibly another 4 months.

07/01/2010- Touch on I-485/Green card...

07/02/2010- Second touch on I-485/Green card, No notifications....

07/07/2010- Told at info pass that my application is being sent to west palm from CSC

07/10/2010- Touch I-485

07/14/2010- Touch on I-485

Today is our one year anniversary of starting the visa process. We mailed our paperwork to CSC exactly on March 17th of last year. I am sooo thankful to be done with the K1 process and hopefully coming to the end of the AOS process. I guess all things considered, 1 year isn't bad for the whole thing. Our interview is in 2 weeks, and we are looking forward to being done with that too. Congratulations to all those who have received good news this week and hoping for more new good news for everyone before week's end. Hopefully our EAD and AP will come in the mail this week as well.

Same thing happen to my case didn't get any update since Feb 17 and surprising me with interview appointment letter today. I'm pretty sure you'll get yours to. But I'm hoping we do received our working permit first also.

WELCOME TO THE UNITED OF AMERICA

This is to notify you that your application for permanent residence has been approved.It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to permanent resident status in the UNITED STATES.

We will soon mail you a new Permanent Resident Card.You should receive it within the next 3 weeks.

Ohh my ohh my.,my husband and i are really happy with this great news! :crying::)(L):D ..

I thought once you had your green card you don't need EAD anymore.

You are right. I don't think once you have your interview you will even get the EAD as its something they usually take from you at the interview.
