Hi everyone, just hitting up this thread for the first time. Filed in late January (for my wife) and playing the waiting game now! Hoping we get EAD and AP soon. Just got an email about an RFE on the I-485.. waiting for that to arrive in the mail. I hope it's not some stupid mistake about the medical because I KNOW we did it all right. :)

04-23-2008: Met on vacation in Egypt (yes, a Canadian and an American met in Egypt!)

03-19-2010: RFE received - Medical Exam has been lost - new one needed

03-20-2010: Contacted Congressman

04-19-2010: Give up the fight, Congressman can't help, got a new physical done

04-22-2010: Surprise, surprise! Passes physical. RFE returned via overnight mail.

04-29-2010: Approval e-mail!

05-07-2010: Permanent Resident Card received! DONE! :)

Hi. I also filed my AOS and EAD on January 19 and the last update I had was on February 17, a day after doing the biometrics. Did you have any touches on your applications after the biometrics? I see a lot of people getting touches on their application and wondering why I have none. I hope I get a surprise in the mail too, soon.

Well you're not alone my case was last updated feb 17 for AOS, after my rfe being received and feb 18 for EAd, which is after my biometrics. And after that no more updates. why oh why..

I have a Question! How do you guys know that you have touches? did they email it to you or just by looking at it online in your registered account in USCIS?

By the way I didn't know if how it works since I didn't sign up for an account for case update till today. Coz my hubby told me that he already have a registered account in uscis before from filing the k1. But he can't access it anymore and I just decided to register today.

But i do check just by looking at my case status online without a registered account but can't see any touches or what so ever.

When your "Last Updated Date" (LUD) changes, that's considered a touch :)

I'm guessing that means they mailed the notice AND the card together yesterday? I was hoping they had mailed the card last Friday when I got the 2nd card production ordered email but oh well...can't complain!!! Approved means approved ;)

Don't worry! The online updates are unreliable so even if the Last Updated Date doesn't change, it doesn't necessarily mean that they're not working on your case ;)

I'm sure you'll get your EAD and AP soon too! *HUGS*
