For example case for today April 9th, 2010 are numbered

(EAC101305) and then the last four digits would be the petitioners case number

Oh, this is great to know! :thumbs:

Just wondering though, how can you see what case numbers they are processing on a certain day?

Don't worry they are processing cases around the 15th right now. There is a system to there case numbering.

EAC- Vermont

1007- January

05- 13th

the next four numbers state ur case number.

So if your case number is EAC1007250315, that means your case was entered January, 15th 2010. I have noticed that they have been working on cases around this date the last couple of days.

Don't worry there working at VSC... :thumbs:

This doesn't seem to follow any logic, or I'm missing it. You also said:

For example case for today April 9th, 2010 are numbered

(EAC101305) and then the last four digits would be the petitioners case number

This means that:

1007 = January.

1013 = April

Ok, that means what, those digits are < month > * 2 + 5? Or what? Jan (1) * 2 + 5 = 7. April(4) * 2 + 5 = 13.

But then both of your examples use '05' to be, uhh, either the 15th, OR the 9th.

Please explain your formula used to determine cases numbers. Maybe I'm missing something... ?

Also, as someone else asked, where are you finding the case number(s?) currently being worked on?

Mailed K1: Fedex to VSC Feb 19, 2010

NOA1: Feb 22

NOA2: May 17 (84 days, no touches, both SMS and email notice received a day later)

Rcvd at NVC: May 19

Sent on to Embassy: May 21 (in reality, May 24th)

Received at Embassy: May 26

Packet 3 received: June 1

Packet 3 returned: June 2

Packet 4 received: June 16 (emailed appointment date June 11)

interview: July 19th (Warsaw - APPROVED!!!)

POE: July 24th :)

There is no logic to it. I never said there was. For example, today the case numbers given out are EAC101305 followed by four numbers. Yesterday (Thursday) the case numbers were EAC101295. The middle two numbers after the four digit represent the day. Wednsdays case numbers were EAC 101285. So I shouldnt say the first four represent the month.

Im not finding the case numbers being worked on. On USCIS I punched in the wrong number case once and I came to figure out there number system.
