Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself - I'm Alan from Westlake, Ohio.

I returned from Costa Rica on December 28 and just got done assembling all the papers for our I-129F (K-1) visa. I'm excited because I see that CSC is processing K-1's pretty quick - It would be awesome for Vanessa (my Fiancee) to be here sometime in July or August of 2010.

Hope all goes smooth for the new year and that USCIS folks are ready to process applications quickly for the new year!

Want to wish the best of luck to the first CSCers of the new year!

If it ever becomes stressful and seems never ending, take it from someone reunited with their loved one and getting married in two weeks - this too shall pass.

May your process be smooth, quick, and trouble free!

Welcome to VisaJourney!

Hi Leenie,

From what I've seen it appears that CSC is processing K-1's in about 60-90 days and the NVC/Costa Rican Embassy interview date is only about 30 days after NOA2 is processed. Maybe I'm being niave, but if everything goes well (no RFE, etc), I would think Vanessa would be here sometme in June or July... (wishful thinking)...

I'll be back to see Vanessa in Costa Rica on Feb 5th (just returned on Dec 28th).

I'm hoping for the same. It would be wonderful to have a nice summer wedding with all my family able to come (since my brother and sister out of state for school the rest of the year). They cashed my check but still no NOA1! haha.

Good Luck :)

Hey, Hola Alan and Bienvenido! Looks like our procesing at CSC is very close in timeline. On Igor's list, you're at 234 and I'm at 261. I live in in San Diego and sent my 129F via Priority mail. It got there overnight and I got the NOA1 dated for the day after I mailed it....so I guess they are doing sort of ok in CSC at getting the petitions logged in the system. I got a touch on 1/30... (which is Saturday...? didn't know govt emp work Sat but DEFINITELY NOT COMPLAINING  )..... I think they they are getting caught up at CSC and moving through Nov petitions now. That means we could have potentially quick decisions....the timeline estimates me at out to April 22 .... we'll see....

Good luck to you and Vanessa and hope ya get a speedy decision!
