Charles, Nagi, Susita & Val thanks for the advice.

The med records I told her to bring already.

The flight I booked has a 6 hour layover. The other flight had only an hour 1/2 layover. I figured better safe then sorry.

i hope the 6 hour is at the poe and the 1/2 hour as a domestic switch instead of vice versa.

Yes, She'll be @ Washington, Dulles for the poe She will be waiting 6 hrs there. The other flight I could have booked was only a hour and a half layover to Charlotte. From what I have read it looks like you should atleast have a 2-3 hour window at the poe.

Nagi,

Feel better. If I could I'd come visit you to do a Johnny Rockets dance for you.

Well, do your little dance, videotape it, and post it! That will make Nagi feel better! (And make the rest of us pretty happy, too :P )

and as mentioned earlier, make sure she gets the i-94 back. the cost of replacing that, last i checked, was about $340.

Isn't that about what it costs to replace any piece of paper that USCIS or any immigration agent forgets to give you or loses too?

hey ho commies!

Nagi, hope you feel better soon...

I need to vent, so if you're not up to it, don't bother reading...

1. it's still cold here

2. horrible weekend

3. we wanted to go to Germany in March, visit my family and get hubby's junk unfixed so we can start that whole baby thing. Well, we can't. Hubster has to go to school (for the Airforce Reserve) in March for about 8-12 weeks, after that he has to go to Germany for his 2 week annual tour. Ticket prices in summer are horrendous, so me joining him is not an option.

4. we were laying off that whole baby thing for the last 3 years now for various reasons (school, immigration, job situation and so on). Now we're finally in a position where we can do it and along comes that #######

5. getting that surgery done here is almost impossible, either the surgeons are cheap as hell but don't disclose their success rate or even the number of surgeries they have done or they're expensive and in another state. The surgeon we picked in Germany is actually one of the top three surgeons in Europe in his field and his fees are quite cheap (the whole package costs around 2500 euros)

vent end

Awww Chrito, sorry about all that. We are here for you to vent to!

Any option for having the surgery done in Canada? Might not be as expensive.

Im back. Still don't feel any better. Thank you ALL for the well wishes.

Cheeto! 0mg you poor dear! I understand you having to vent about doctors/surgeries here. How well I know! It sure svcks when things do not go as we plan and we have have no answers as to why.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
