I'm aggravated. :angry:

My husband's friends/family are REALLY pissing me off. They think that we sh*t out gold bricks or something. Who the hell over the age of 18 asks for presents? He's flying over there on Tuesday and apparently he's expected to bring sh*t for every single freakin person that exists. Tough luck. I can't afford it. They're lucky if they get an I (L) NY keychain.

We got something for his mom and dad and for his neices & nephews for Christmas (there's a lot of them BTW). He's got like 8 brothers and sisters and they're married so there's no way in hell I can buy them each a gift, I'm sorry. But did you know they asked for presents? ADULTS??? Are you serious?? And a friend of his just had a baby and sent him an email asking for a gift for the baby. Another one of his friends wanted a football jersey too. #######???

Srsly!!! Who the hell does this sh*t? Are you serious??? And he gets mad at ME for saying that it pisses me off. :blink: Riiiiight.

Now he's on the phone with them telling them how we don't have that much money yadda yadda yadda... cause he knows they're messed up.

I'm glad my husband and I had 2 years apart to really learn to communicate and get to know each other better. Sure, we argue and we both do things to annoy/anger the other, but when we finally got married I felt very much it was the right thing. Of course I know lives and people change and thus so does the marriage (this isn't my first marriage and clearly the first one didn't work out as planned!) but if you barely know someone how can you expect it to be smooth?

Even though I'm in a cranky mood right now, I have to mention I love my husband because he's wonderful. We don't fight. I turn into a complete psychopath and rant, and then he waits a little while and gives me a hug and we talk. But we knew this because we had a relationship before we got married. (good point jundp).

If we were both nuts, it would have never worked out!! :lol:

I'm still mad at his family/friends. I think it's totally inconsiderate to ask for gifts IMHO. Especially grown ups. From the kiddies I don't mind :star: plus we already got them presents.

He's talking to his brother (my favorite brother in law) and I hear everything. He told his brother how we had to pull the boys out of the full-day preschool and put them in a half-day, less-expensive one, and how I cried and felt horrible for not being able to afford the tuition. See? I knew my husband was a good egg.
