I don't care whose doing the massaging. I love being touched/massaged. I am annoying that way. We'll be sitting here on the couch watching tv and I will pester my husband (who is named Chris, too.. lol) to rub my legs, rub my feet, play with my hair, rub my arms, etc. It's like a pesty cat.

Yep. Much logic?

Well the thing is a lot of ppl don't associate massage therapy with being a therapeutic, medical, modality. Most ppl think of it as "Oh I'm going to get pampered." which is fine.

It's hard in MT because I have to be clinical and have ppl respect me but I cannot come off too clinical with clients because the nature of my work is not to be cold an sterile, and wear a lab coat type stuff.

I have the same if not more anatomy and physiology training then nurses, I had a pre med student tell me that my school was teaching me more about certain aspects of the body then what he had learned. Ppl really don't understand the training that goes into becomeing an LMT in New York, not easy by any means.

Touch is a very powerful but subtle thing. If you ever have the time there is a school (The Touch Institute) that does research on touch and it's significance in different areas.

That's okay, we'll keep ya. :D

That'd be interesting to do, actually. Being touched is really relaxing to me. I'm not going to explain it because then C4C might look like a cheap porn, but needless to say, it's a very relaxing, terrific feeling for me.

Thanks everyone. On to the next opportunity.....

This was the Chicago job? Sorry it didn't work out.

I could use a sugar mama that calls me "Bubbie"

Actually you'll be calling her "Bubbie". She'll be calling you her "sheine yingale", or perhaps her "feigaleh"
