got a bakers dozen of bagels yesterday at einsteins ... the stupid ###### behind the counter tried to convince me 11 was the correct quantity ... the manager agreed with me ... almost told her to take off her shoe to assist in counting ...

oooh I love Einstein's Everything bagel with their garden veggie shmear... yummy!

Thanks, everyone, again. Now, let's go back to funnies, OK?

Natty - it sounds like you are a really demanding customer. Maybe the person behind the counter was simply worried about your health, and didn't want you eating all those carbs. Didcha ever think of that? Huh?

well ... we need someone to be in the barrel today ... wanna be it?

I am NOT a fish!

Uh-oh. JAS just weighed in on the EX thread and I think it is about to blow up...

i had the everything and chopped garlic ones put in a separate bag (so not to contaminate the real bagels) ... and tossed the bag in the trunk. you know ... today the car STILL stinks of those things ...

guess who likes the smelly bagels?

hint: not me .....

I am blonde. With an IQ of 160 (except when drinking, then it goes through the stratosphere). You want to rethink that last comment, Spanky?

OK, I think I am ready for this now.

Commies, I want to thank you for being a distraction over the last few days, when I needed it. Hubby has been doing a great job of keeping me from laying in bed and bawling 24/7, but he can't be here all the time. You might have noticed (if you allow signatures) that I do not have a ticker anymore. I went in for a checkup last Thurs (I was at 11 weeks) and there was no heartbeat. I go in for the D&C tomorrow.

I'm trying not to dwell on this, but I thought I should share it with you as, unwittingly, you have been helping me through this. And you may have wondered when I mention that I am drinking and smoking!
