That is CLASSIC! Thank you thank you thank you for posting that!

You just took me back on a nostalgia trip to approximately 1978 - amazing!

I never understood the premise of Magic Shadows - take a full length classic feature film, and break it up into 5 nightly 30 minute episodes, complete with Elwy's narration. How can he possibly have expected his audience to have the continuity to watch a movie broken up like that?

You forgot that during the last few years he'd show a serial on Fridays. He used to cut all sorts of stuff out of the movies to make them fit. I liked it but it went off the air when I was a little kid. You Canadians with your nostalgia, next you'll tell me that you remember going to the basement of Eaton's to get hot doughnuts from the machine. :lol: BTW, who's the premier, John Robarts or Bill Davis? :lol:

I never did the Eatons thing. Robarts was before my time - I came of age in the Bill Davis era.
