Thanks, Val. It took me a few months to research and compare and to find what I wanted in a laptop. I settled with the Sony Vaio F series..they just came out with it a few weeks ago.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

Yes, Laura. Do you know how many times Luis & I have considered moving to Peru? Too many to count! His family is so close knit and spend tons of time with each other. He doesn't particularly get home sick like most people, but I know when he thinks of the baby being here soon & his family not being able to be with him for it, it hurts him a lot. I feel really bad for him.

Yeah, I'm really close to my mom and brothers and would love to be able to live close by, we're all so scattered and Brasil in itself is so huge that it's strange that we're suddenly all over the place. I don't openly miss them all the time, just sometimes it hits me that I barely can see them, and it puts me down for a few hours, but I'm usually totally fine about it.

@Nagi - We were just there last August through September, so it's too early to go again. :P

Hey guys I'm being lazy today... woke up in serious pain at like 7am from sleeping on my sides, took 2 extra strength tylenol and went back to bed (that's all they let me take). I'm feeling a bit better just lazy.

I have to run to the grocery store :dead: not feeling like it

Ridiculously, terribly, pathetically homesick today. I know it's nothing compared to people who have left their lives in other countries, but my goodness I miss New Orleans. It's worse right now because of the Superbowl and everyone jumping on the Saints bandwagon, I guess, so Nola is in the news a lot more. It doesn't help that the NFL is trying to sue people for using fleur-de-lis and Who Dat :lol:

Yesterday was the official beginning of Mardi Gras with the first parades....just makes me miss my roots.

Another homesick person! :lol: It sucks, doesn't it?

Boy I'm so lazy! I woke up, went for my morning walk, came home and since have been talking on Skype with my best friend from Brasil about books and life and still haven't even showered from the exercise. I need to clean, shower and cook and I can't get my #### off the chair. :P
