Go back to kaushalia.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I just ate an entire eggplant parmigiana hero. I feel like I'm going to explode.

I've had waaay too many dinners like that in the past. It's how I built my robust physique.

I like Twisted K, DH is Special K. It makes things much easier to remember for a simple man like me.

Mom was crazy about gardening and I wasn't much better. The last few years I've had to cut back but I still get a kick out of the giant alliums, disco belles and even Indain Blanket Flowers. We were always looking for colocasias and in September I finally got some. Unfortunately, Mom isn't around to enjoy them. :crying:

And I believe she is sad because you can't see hers.

I believe that you're right.

It brought tears to my eyes just thinking about all the plants we tried to grow over the years. I once tried to grow cotton in Toronto which speaks to my level sanity I suppose. Papayas (5 varieties), lots of bananas (9 varieties), frangipanis (5 varieties), bauhinias (3 varieties), Brugmansias (15 varieties), Queen of tears, Painted fingernail plant, bamboo (6 varieties), passiflora (8 varieties), jasmine (6 varieties), figs (20 varieties), I can't even remember all the crazy stuff we tried. Most are gone, someone gave me a banana and I have three frangipanis and two jasmines and a few figs and a couple of voodoo lilies left but that's about it. It was always an adventure bringing the tropicals out of the basement and watching all the people stop by and bring their kids. Mom would be sitting out on the lawn in her chair doing a Jumble puzzle or she'd be pulling weeds or eating some mulberries or something. That was just the tropicals, we also had plenty of fruit trees and hostas and lilies. I stopped counting the hostas at 25.

noooooooooo...I honestly don't know what I'm reading this week. I'll find out in a few when I check it out.

Let me guess, English Lit? :bonk:

I love hostas! My mom does Jumbo puzzles too. Sounds like your yard was a showplace.

 I'm feeling the love!

I planted lettuce and tomatoes 2 weeks ago and then it rained, and rained and rained and rained and, you get the picture. Anyway, the lettuce have appeared, but I think the tomatoes were washed away. Tomorrow I need to get in the yard and sort them out! Also, my blue berry bush is looking sad and lonely, it needs a mate :)

Do not run around telling anyone I have any kind of soft side though. I have a pissy reputation to keep up!

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
