you know I actually learned how to cook GOOD Indian stuff

i make a mean chai and rotis...both just take time and knack for it

i don't cook as often as I'd like but mmm mmm all their stuff is so delicious

and you know what I plan to make some shepoo maybe with some aloo in it! :thumbs:

I dont think I will get a refund this year.. My husband prefers withholding less money from our paychecks because he believes that it is like giving the government a free loan for a year otherwise.

I agree with your husband, Nina! I know people back home that would have extra taxes taken off their paycheque, saying it was like a savings account so they got a windfall in April. Ummm, yeah, a no-interest savings account. I only allowed the absolute minimum to be taken off mine. I'd rather pay $200 in April than wait for my $1800 refund. :blush:

Having said that, the tax system here bears little resemblance to the Cdn one, from what I've seen. For one, employers have until the end of Feb in Cda to get our T4s (employment income form) to us. That is frustrating when you just want to get filed.

me too Suz and last year I got screwed royally and got very little

at least this year i have "permission" to claim one child so it should be nicer

debts to pay mostly

i was surprised when hubby went to get his check yesterday, they handed him the W2! :dance:

Usually his employer is a real #### and waits till the 31st to mail them

keep us in your prayers

hubby had another interview yesterday

they are having him come for the 2nd sometime within the next week!
