Thanks for answers. I was just curious if it was just me or everyone noticed it.

On another totally different subject I just said to someone "you can have sex fast. I know you know how to do it"

We had a little bit of American history in English classes, a little bit in the regular history classes. We focused on European history and later on contemporary stuff.

I learned the most of my American history in translator school, there we focused on British and American history, and yes, I know who invented the cotton gin :jest:

My throat hurts worse today. I guess that happens when your team finally wins a championship and makes it to the Superbowl after 43 years and you are simultaneously crying and screaming -- when you already have a sore throat to begin with :)

Yeah, I'm happy today!

Good news I have both my W2s just waiting for Luis's now and a statement from the boys old preschool.

I have a bedroom that I want to paint a different color. Right now it's just like a beige-ish. I'm thinking some sort of orange. I'm thinking maybe something like this one...dunno...

Still no W2's. Sigh.

I'm curious about this because I just made a comment to my friend about it. After knowing your spouses from other countries, do you feel like history classes here kinda just focus on the awesomeness of the US and don't really tell you about as much world history as other countries do?

Although I do think that the version I learned in school was fairly glossed over, I can say that I learned a fairly good world view. I was able to go to school in primary, junior high, high school, and university in foreign countries. In primary, I went to school for a semester in Ireland, in junior high, I went to school for a semester in Mexico, in High School, I went to a summer school in N. Ireland, and in university, I got to go to Valencia, Spain. In each school, in each country, I found that the focus was on that country, and all foreign history or political science etc was taught in the context of how it related to that country.

I just want something super chipper. I have green, pale pink, mustardy yellow, pale yellow, red, beige-ish. I like rooms painted different colors. Any other suggestions are welcome. I plan to buy new comforter to match whatever color I choose so things look right together.

I've seen some really nice rooms where they paint that color from the moulding up to the center of the room, then put in a chair rail and leave the top half white. That might look perty!

The boys room is like that, they have blue denim walls (I did it myself with the ralph lauren paint kit thingy) and in the center I put up a white chair rail and from there up is white. It's pretty cool.
