Im annoyed by people in general. I would really like to see the product Im buying and not just a pic of it.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

order online? I purchase as much as I can online just to avoid going to a store. I hate people.

I like ordering stuff online, but I'm like Nagi there's just some stuff I have to look at before I buy it.

I get tons of stuff online though with coupons & free shipping. My Prenatal DHA vitamins cost me 14.00 for 60 capsules and they were charging me 19.99 for 30 capsules in the store

I also get movies online, books etc.

what is the obsession with that show jersey shore? is it a huge trainwreck or something?

I have heard so much buzz about it I tried to watch it the other day. I lasted 5 minutes. It's total #######, to me.

Amby ~ this show represents a group of people that live on Long Island too. I hate these types of people. I am not going to watch it on a show when I could just see them at the bar  I go to the Hamptons in the summer and these spraytanned, spikey haired guidos are there fist pumping it up. It's annoying. And it's embarrassing to Italian Americans, my mom shakes her head every time she sees it.

anyone else like "shitmydadsays" on fb & twitter?

yes I love shitmydadsays! :)

I srsly need to lay down.

Nagi take a rest & relax hope you feel better after!

Nagi, be thankful. I wish I had never heard of this show. That is 5 minutes that I will never get back. And I think about 10% of my IQ leaked out in that time.

I'm curious about this because I just made a comment to my friend about it. After knowing your spouses from other countries, do you feel like history classes here kinda just focus on the awesomeness of the US and don't really tell you about as much world history as other countries do?

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Yes. Until I got to the university and then they basically told me forget everything you learned in high school  - i.e. Columbus was a murderer, the pilgrims and the indians were NOT friends and Abe Lincoln owned slaves!

I never understood, growing up in Canada, why I had to know who invented the cotton gin. And to this day, I still know this. WHY?

The impression I got was that American history classes were very concentrated on US history, and, um, very complimentary to Americans although maybe not as accurate as they could be. I do not know if this is true; I have my doubts that it is as bad as everyone says.
