I could use some. We are now 18 months into the sadness no little babies. Oh well. Plenty to be thankful for.

Honey, I have not been motivated to clean in quite some time. 0h sure, I do the basics, but I need to do some deep cleaning. I too wish I had a maid. But you know us poor folk....

My mom's friend came over yesterday & was talking to me about kids. She has 3 kids too, her youngest is 10 and always comes over to play with the boys.

So we get into this conversation. I don't talk about this much because it bothers me, but my dad's side of the family gives me grief about having another baby. When I told them I was pregnant they looked at me as if they were looking at a cesspool that had just exploded (no joke). I heard through the grapevine (mom's friend, also friend of my aunt) that my aunt said I was irresponsible because she says we don't make enough money to have 3 kids. I don't remember showing her our monthly earnings .

Anywhoo... my mom's friend is a stay at home mom and her husband makes basically the same amount of money as we do, only difference is that they own a house and we're still saving for one. So her and my aunt got into an argument because she felt insulted by what my aunt was saying about me and Luis's situation, so whoops I guess it's my fault . She's a cool person though and I seriously feel bad but I wouldn't want to associate with my aunt if I wasn't related to her.

I just don't understand why the hell people worry about my life when they have their own to worry about. I have never asked for help financially from any of those freakin' people so why the heck don't they just leave me alone and stop talking about me?

I don't get it.

Remember what we were talking about last night? Compassion for the compassionate. The Divine gift is HIS and HIS alone, we are just vessels. As fast as we pour out our compassion, he replenishes us. It is HIS gift to us and humanity. We don't need to have requests, we do it because it is doing HIS bidding. Specificity helps but HE gives us what HE wills, whether we understand or not and whether we think we need it or not.

OK, sermon's over, now it's time to make people laugh since it relieves suffering by bringing us joy. A horse walks into a bar and the bartender says, "why the long face."

I don't understand this at all. You're with child and your aunt is sh*tting on you. I always think - I should go get a job in the city making the big bucks, then have kids? Riiiight. So I can leave them in daycare from 6am till 7pm and never spend any time with them?

I donno, this is just my opinion, but I think family is more important than money.

I donno, this is just my opinion, but I think family is more important than money.

Don't take the criticism too much to heart from the family, all they want is for you to have a better life and have more resources to spend on the kids you already have and yourself instead of on a new one. My sister got the same rap from our family before having her first son at age 29, everyone was of the opinion that she should wait until they have more money, so she waited, she now agrees that it was better to wait even though for years she yearned to have a baby.

Sure having money makes life more comfortable, but for me too having a whole lot of fun and being happy is also more important than money, luckily the things that bring me the most joy in life are free

My kids don't want for anything. We pay for their soccer league, t-ball league and private Christian preschool. We're usually tight with our money because we are saving for a house, so every extra penny goes in the savings acct. Not just that, we don't like to waste our money on #######.

And if they were really concerned they would come and speak to me about it instead of badmouthing me behind my back to their friends, or staring at me like a cesspool had just exploded. So much for family. They never even once invited the boys over their house for the weekend or anything. They see them like once every six months and they live like 2 miles away. So they can go to hell with their freakin criticism.

My mom's entire family is happy for me BTW. My grandma has already bought this baby enough outfits to wear for the first whole year of her life. She lives in Kohl's, gets her senior citizen discount every wednesday plus her coupons and her credit card specials.

they think they're better than everyone else.

Everytime the boys have a soccer game, birthday party or school function or anything, I invite them and they don't show.

I'm running out to the store, my mom needs onions so I volunteered to go so she'll watch the boys and I can get myself an iced coffee. She just saw how nice my apartment looks and asked me if I wanted to switch with her and move upstairs.

Just reminded me of that scene from Coming to America where Eddy Murphy complains about him and Semi's apartment being too "luxurious" and switches apartments with the landlord
