Kidnappings are known to have happened - especially to the wealthy or to 'gringas' so he was always super careful with me when in lima

That kind of thing happens all over the world, unfortunately. It happens in the US too but not nearly as much and the outcome is usually much worse since ransom is not really an option.

the gangs/candymen really don't want the publicity ... cops show up and the status quo is upset ...

heck ... the guys sporting firearms in the middle of the street smiled and waved. they watched us visit friends ... no problems.

they knew we were visiting ... and were no threat

ummm, yes :( so dont bother washing your car. Unless you can wash it and put your car in a garage for the weekend. I think the rain will be coming in the evening.

Morning Commies. :) I get to spend the day with my baby cousin. She should be here in about 20 minutes, so excited. :D

I feel such peace this morning. I took care of so much after the interview letter came yesterday. I think we have a pretty good domicile case.
