I'm finally cleaning and doing laundry.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

It's not too cold outside today, so I'm going to clean out my SUV and vacuum inside it. The kids had those ritz bits crackers the other day on our way home, and they left crumbs everywhere. I can understand a few crumbs but it looked like they purposely mashed the crackers up in their hands and then threw them on the floor on purpose. I get mad and they look at me with these big watery puppy eyes and say "Sorry Mommy" and I can't be mad anymore.

I am a total sucker. When is my husband going to be home??? :girlwerewolf2xn:

I know what you mean about crumbs.

I'm still trying to figure out how our two little guys managed to get all those cheerios into the trunk!

The floor in the back of the car ... well I just stopped looking there ...

 well, yesterday was a holiday. we discussed that he will call the embassy on the 4th of every month. we will both check the VFS website (the middle man that the embassy returns the passport through in india) daily, and he will also call them daily. and i will call DOS every Friday.

they originally told him approx 2 weeks which we all know that is the number they make off the top of their heads. we are still holding on to the fact that they have kept his passport.

Give Generously, Live Fully, Laugh Often, Love Completely...AND PRAY ALWAYS!!!

He is home!!!

The floor in the back of the car ... well I just stopped looking there ...

I bought a dirt devil. I never needed one before I had the boys. I used to have to vacuum the car like every 2 days because of the cheerios, kix, etc. Everyone tells you "Don't let them eat in the car." YEAH RIGHT. They don't have children that's why they say that. Luis isn't any better either. When we go out, sometimes we stop at 7-11 and he gets chips or whatever and they wind up all over the floor too, and he's 34. Go figure.

omg ... isa is the same way

when it's close to snack time or meal time and you're away from home and there isn't a place to stop ... well cheerios are way better for the car than mac-n-cheese for them to eat by themselves.

Oh and BTW guys, remember that whole issue I was having with Luis's family and the gifts situation?

Well he had a long talk with his brother (my favorite brother-in-law, he's so funny & just an awesome guy) about how everyone's perception of how we live in the US is SOOO not correct. His brother wrote me an e-mail saying how embarrassed he is by them & that he's going to have a talk with his family about the way they just 'expect' things from us when we're honestly in almost the same situation they are over there. Plus it's just tactless to ask for gifts, IMO.

His family isn't poor. They're like us - they don't have a lot of money, but they have everything they need. We send gifts for birthdays & Christmas but with so many nieces and nephews we just can't get something for everyone else. I think the kids are the most important anyhow. Last year, the big gift to his mom & dad was a washing machine. It cost us like $300 and for us that's a big chunk of money to spend on a gift. But since Luis had gotten a job we had a little more to work with so we did it. Plus his mom and dad are great people. Plus now they don't have to pay a lady to come and wash their clothes.

So hopefully next time we go visit them they won't be calling or e-mailing Luis asking for gifts. That just got under my skin. Grown men and women 'asking' for gifts.

I told my brother-in-law not to worry, I wipe my a$$ with $100 bills
