Technically I dont have to file, but now that Im married......

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

hubby and I both claimed ZERO so that should work out well

I was under the assumption that any one family/individual can only get earned income credit for 2 kids?

I mean you can put all the kids down and claim them but they only put out for as many as 2, no?

It's the only time I get that kind of money in hand and just go CRAZY! :dance:

There's an additional child tax credit & also child care credits (I paid for child care all through 2009) as well. It ups the size of your household too.

I can't believe what a goof I am about taxes

the ex and I don't see eye to eye on it

I used to claim 2 of our 3 and made out real good

last year I got screwed royally

claimed no kids

and got fvked :angry:

Doesn't the parent who has the kids, get to claim them?

well technically they don't live with me

but that doesn't mean he has to be selfish

#1 i pay the child support

#2 one of those kids is with me nearly 50% of the time

he has like 2 other kids (besides our 3) that he can claim as well

yeah we have that shared or joint custody thing and I thought as long as one agrees with the other :whistle:

Yes 100% positive, I made them check a gazillion times. I like claiming the twins :) but I think I'll like claiming 3 kids even better, hahaha

and each time were you like ... "did you look behind/ under/ over" to make sure there was only one?

i still like to look at the U.Sounds she got in brazil (these are on DVD).

it's great to see the two little heartbeats ... and look at the guys now ...
