Girl,yes! Cos they are gonna put the visa in it.

Maybe they ordered some background checks, but believe me if they did they just want to be current from the last checks and those don't take too long.

I know every embassy is different. But everyone for 2 weeks in Moscow was going through AP when I was waiting for our interview. In all the AP cases that the C/O took the passports, everyone got their visas. If they were going to outright reject it I don't think they would have bothered to keep the passport. Congrats!!!

Apostle, Chris is right....they would not have kept his passport. You know at my husband's second interview the same thing happened. But! I called DOS later that day and they had already stamped his passport and he got it in like 5 or 6 days instead of the 2 weeks they said. So anything is possible.

Chris ~ my friend came over yesterday & was talking about this prescription drug her mom used to quit smoking but there was a big side effect - suicidal thoughts. Die from smoking or kill yourself? I'd rather die from smoking thanks.

i just called DOS, and she said it was admin processing for security checks. said anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of month. said i am free to call back anytime.
