Aww, thanks Suze! I like to tell people I adopted him when I was 9. But in truth I was 19 when he was born-- just a baby. Now he's smarter than me.

I really feel like doing that! Of course, they're mostly satirical essays which are fun to read but a pain to grade because of my own requirements. They get a list of 'dead' words and if any word shows up in the paper it's an automatic zero. I'm harsh. And stupid because it takes forever to check for the dead words.

But it's a 2 hour drive to Bellingham so I can usually get through a fair amount in the car.

By any chance if your son gets lost did you tell him by indirections find directions out? :lol:

it was good :) my friend (the only one I have here that can cook) made a great spread! I (L) her! there was a ton of people there I didn't know. it was nice to mingle. I ended up wearing a dress because I only have one pair of pants they will go over my knees.

smoked salmon, mini quiche lorraine (that's why I now crave it), caesar salad, eggs benedict, prime rib, mimosas, champagne, coffee, juice, lots of wine (my friends like to drink lol), mini pear tarts and chocolate cakes

M y Gosh! I can't even imagine. I used to drink mimosas with my neighbour in her garage years ago just like typical white trash.

OK so now I seriously want some quiche :unsure: I might make some tomorrow. We'll see what my energy level is, I just mopped my kitchen, hallway and bathroom and now I look and feel like death. :dead:

It's weird to me because last time I was on bedrest and couldn't do anything so I didn't go through this. I feel like a nutcase but at least my house looks good. I'm going to tackle the boys room tomorrow, just because I started & I know it's going to be too much work for me to finish today.

I'm going to make homemade nacho cheese dip and me and the boys are going to veg out on the couch, watch a movie & munch.
