i never had a JW approach my front door. but i did have one come to me while sitting in my car at a hospital waiting for my mom to come out. i kind of felt bad because i was just joking around with him, pretending that i was interested asking him really off the wall questions. then my mom came out and was like why are you doing that? i told her i wanted to know his answers then i drew the line when he asked to meet me at my apartment. living alone, i don't invite any man over, at least not since 2006

I try to just toss Scripture in their face and let them know it is not religious doctrine that saves us, but the relationship and knowing the 0ne I serve. Usually gets them frustrated and they leave.

I have another day of cleaning ahead of me I left the worst for last, I have to attack the boys' room.

A good was to get rid of a JW is to answer the door with a dildi ( singular for ####### ) in your hand and ask them how their 'church' feels about homosexuality.

I don't usually get mad - I know it's a part of their religion or whatever to go walking around and 'spreading the word' or whatever.

But I just think if they come once, and you ask them not to come back because you're not interested, they should respect that, because technically if I was cold-hearted enough I could call the police and charge them with harassment. It's not like it's a different group that comes, it's the same damn people. And technically, if you warn them even once and they come back it's harassment. It's been more times than that.

There are some Mormons that walk around here too but they're smart... they remember we said we weren't interested and they don't come to our door anymore.

Pushy is an understatement, they look in your front windows and wait outside for like 15 minutes. Last time I hid.

Guess they're really having problems recruiting people.

BTW the boys started their new school last week & they had a great week. It's a Christian school so they get a little bit of religious education which is cool.

I'm gonna get started with this cleaning nonsense again
