The truth is I don't regret being with my ex, he was a great guy for the first 5 years of our relationship and then he turned into an azzhat. I don't think I made any poor decisions - the only one I could say I made was trying to help him for so long after we split up (he developed a drug problem, which then turned into a legal problem for him after we were apart). I really just wanted him to get better & get his life together. I spent a lot of money & effort on trying to help him.

So basically, yeah. People can kiss my azz. I did what I had to do. I pay taxes like everyone else, so if I fall into a desperate situation why should I have to suffer through it while there are programs out there to give me a hand.

(and I did have money in my savings, he emptied it and blew it all on heroin)

I washed the car by hand. It hurt my back.

Nagi, be careful! I'm taking the boys to the car wash tonight, after 6pm it's only $5. My black SUV is covered with sand/salt debris. It looks crummy.

I always hated washing the car except if I had my brothers helping me and it was summer. Then it was fun. Since I got married Luis is the one who washes the car though, usually he drives to his dad and they spend the afternoon washing it together.
