I think school is over-rated because you can just get a GED. Drop out of school once you reached the 9th grade. Study for the GED, and pass it. Apply for community college, choose subjects that'll prepare you for a transfer to a degree you want at a University. Two years later, transfer. Graduate with a Bachelors in two years in any field including Engineering, Nursing, or whatever.

My friend who dropped out of high school. Did Opium, and Mary-J. Went to rehab and half-way house. He got his GED. Did the community college. Did the transfer. Got his Bachelors in Computer Engineering with a Magna Cum Laude. Works at Raytheon with his entry-level salary of 65k.

That is why I think sometimes you don't even need to goto High School.

it only works for people who are motivated though. my sister got her GED 4yrs ago and still only has 8 college credit hours. she's lame

I would try poutine but I'm not really a fries person

i have extinuating circumstances

I understand.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

lol, Rob.

Okay, so I'm kinda annoyed. I posted on an Amtrak forum about a timeline concern, checked baggage, and customs. Basically, checked baggage doesn't open until 6am, and my train leaves at 6:40. I also have to go through customs. Argh.

The station opens at 5am. I am thinking if we are inside, with all the boxes and have my tickets ready to be checked, that I'll be okay, especially since I'm a US citizen, I have all boxes labeled, with a worksheet of what is in each box already prepared.
