I can't quite make up my mind whether you two are being curiously sarcastic, or downright stupid.

The Danish cartoonist has a $1m bounty on his head, the police were set up to protect him and his house was fortified against intruders (not fortified enough, by the look of things). The attacker broke in, armed with an axe and a knife. What gives you the idea that he wasn't "actually planning an attack". Planning or no, he was in the middle of carrying out an attack when he was shot.

All we ask of you is to condemn the act, and all similar fatwa's issued in the name of Islam, Islamic Extremism, and all who follow that particular path of Islam. All too often Muslim's fail to do so.
