Pupe, as it has been over 30 days in your case you should be able to call USCIS and check on the status of your petition. Good luck!!

It's been exactly 30 days since my first RFE was sent to me and exactly 25 days since I returned it. Where could it have gone? The address was clear enough. Should it have been sent in a special envelope? Did it need lights and sirens? What did I do wrong?

I am despondent today. I know there will be no processing on my case until they receive my RFE reply. No-one can verify for me why it hasn't been received. No-one.

I need a drink.

Pupe,

If they told you via phone that they recieved them , there is nothing else you can do but wait, sorry.

Tracy, I know what you mean, when I rang them they told me to wait the 30 days, what is 3 more days gonna matter when we ring back, why couldnt they just say yes or no? It's crazy. Also have heard people say that they sent thiers back with thier envelope marked "return RFE info" I wish I had known to do that, as most of them have had responses. Best of luck to everyone!!!

My first RFE for the IMBRA was sent back and it was confirmed that it was received. The duplicate RFE that I recieved was sent back and the post office received it on July 18 has not been confirmed as being received from the USCIS. I called the USCIS customer service number and asked if they recieved it yet and she said they have not received it and that it's more than enough time that it should have been entered into the system. I should send in a copy of it again and should include the info from the post office on who signed for it as well in my copies. Yet another delay. :crying:

yes I used delivery confirmation so atleast I know it was delievered

If you are sending to the Lees Summit in MO which is a PO BOX addy, there was a thread and for the life of me I can't remember where, but someone pointed out that sending it delivery confirmation will actually slow it down a bit because when a postman goes to deliver, there isn't someone standing there at the PO BOX waiting. Therefore, the post will be taken to the post office and a notice will be left in the box. Then you have to wait for someone to go and pick it up. Sorry if that seems so dim but only want you to be aware of how it works. I have sent my first RFE back with confirmation delivery and have yet to hear back either. WHen I read the other thread, I just winged it and sent it via regular mail. So here is keeping our fingers crossed. lol

LJ

y do we have to respond to the second RFE when its the same thing again....

They really only need one, since they are identical. This thread originated because there are several people who never received confirmation that ANY of their RFE replies were received.

Was second RFE exactly the same as first??? They keep sending mine to the old address and I keep calling and requesting to change it to the new one....Will it matter if they should have received the first one already. By the way no word on that either.

Maybe they are slowly but surly digging through the pile of RFEs and their duplicates. ( double the work, as if they were not busy already)

I am almost giving up on K3!!!

Pupe,

Sometimes they dont send emails, it just happens that way, You only sent in your I-129f on mayb 20th, Its very hard to be patient I know, but at this stage thats all you can do. If they told you they recieved the RFE's then you just have to wait it out. Good luck and hope you hear something soon!

My RFE's have still not been received. Anyone else in this situation? It's been a month, and no confirmation yet.

I honestly can't imagine why this is happening. It's making me very sad :(

Trace, I called up the USCIS and they told me that you have to wait not 30 days, but 60 days for them to receive it then put it in the system. Ironically, the very next day, the online status showed that they received and I also received three emails from them saying that they got it!!! Hope you get it soon. I would just call them again. Find out what in sam hell is going on!!
